As for messing up, well, the fight is not easy. 10 minutes seems like a lot of time, but the final room is BRUTAL. Gold, McRubick and I couldn't do it, and they decided two tries was enough and did a Raid instead. If you fail, you have to do the whole mission over again. On top of that, I can't see someone soloing this, so bring a fireteam. |

You have to grab orbs to open the doors in this mission. 1st door needs 1, second 2, and the third needs 3. Just ignore the orbs and run straight for the Ketch.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, gold, Tosh-ka and myself all got our Exotic Swords. The last step is doing the Sunless Cell Strike with a special ending. There are three Wardens that come out, one for each damage type. Depending on what sword you're going for, you have to save one of the wardens and kill him and the main boss within 30 seconds of eachother. Lots of coordination needed there. The Arc Warden appears first, then Void and finally Solar. The Solar guy is going to be horrible to have to keep alive til the end.
If you do this properly you'll complete the quest and get your Sword. Best news: You don't lose the Legendary sword in the process. So now I have the Legendary Arc Sword, and the Exotic. Oh, and the sword is 310 Attack too ;) |

This is awesome, because in addition to the 310 weapon, you have access to the blueprint which is 300 damage. You can buy a bunch to infuse your weapons below 300. Guess I know what I will be working on at some point today.

Tried 3 runs on the end boss with my friends and we failed. At best we mangaged to get him to half life before time ran out. I had some 290 weapons, but in general i think our light was too low.

Random though. Arms day is Wednesday. Yesterday, we had a daily with the special section to get an exotic. Coincidence? I doubt it. It would make a lot of sense for Wednesdays to be the day to get the hidden exotics.

damn, I didn't realize the 310 black spindle was a mistake. Apparently they are going to fix it and change all of them to 290. There goes my plans of infusing crap unless the mission miraculously pops back up before the fix.

I have to say how stupid I feel.
After playing this game for a year, well over 600 effing hours, more than I have ever played any game ever, I feel completely lost. I guess it is good that there is so much available, but between the sword quests and exclusive strike drops and secret exotic runs and level 1,2 and 3 Court of Oryx and leveling up runes and and yada yada yada, I don't even know where to start. Getting super overwhelmed. |
