13 hours in 30 degree weather for the Wii was the last time.

Wow. I don't think I've even played the Wii for 13 hours in total.


I did wait in line for the PS2 at launch, but it was out of circumstance, unplanned : I got called in for a c-section delivery at 2 AM, so I was done around 3 and drove right past a Wal-Mart that was opening at 6. At that point, I figured my night was already shot, so why the hell not.

Yeah, I waited quite a while for the Wii as well but not all at one time. Over the course of a week I would get to Walmart early before their shipments and wait a few hours to see if they got any in. It worked, but I had to waste maybe 24 hours in total to score a few systems.

Got mine in hand!

THIS!!....and I might add Killzone, NBA, BF4, AC:BF and even Knack. We alll have seen countless trailers of these for the last 5 months on a tiny screen. High time we see them in all their glory....in my case a calibrated 55" Plasma.

Knack shipped, BF4 is shipping today and the PS4 Killzone Bundle 'Is Being Shipped Now".

They are still preparing my console for shipment but they have been doing that all day. I better get a shipment notification very soon or I'm going to be pissed.

Well, my PS4 finally switched to 'Shipping Now', so hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. Killzone & Assassin's Creed came yesterday & my freebie Skylanders shipped today for tomorrow delivery. I was somewhat comforted to see that Skylanders shipped via UPS. Hopefully it's the same with the console.

The Pulse Elite is a phenomenal headset. Won't work wirelessly with the PS4 at launch, will need as update. Should work with the wire plugged into the controller at launch(at least for audio, but I'm not sure that will work for chat).

I just realized that I very well may be 40 years old by the time the PS5 is eventually released. Dear God.

I have the Pulse, and here's what I'm doing if they don't work with the 1.5 update. I've got a pair of skullcandy earbuds with a mic, and I'll be plugging those into the controller. Should hold me over until the update comes.
