I saw a video on a netrunner build. Absolutely insane how powerful you can be. I'll be going for that in my second Run.
I'm focused on blades. I unlocked the perk "Judge Jury and executioner " with increases blade damage 100 percent on full health enemies. Once I get my health high enough I can just go in and take out a room with a katana

Has anyone else experienced the teleport tossing glitch? I'll be flung to the other side of the map and die. This has happened twice and I wasn't doing anything crazy to trigger it just playing normally.
Think ill take a break till the next patch drops.

Spent the morning grinding up my Level to 40 and my Technical Ability to 18, just so I could craft the (Legendary) Ashura Sniper Rifle.
My previous (Epic) Ashura Sniper Rifle had a DPS of around 450+. This one has a DPS of 950+

Apparently the biggest issue that new patch addresses is the Save Corruption (sort of).
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/cy...6-fix-save-bug
According to CD Projekt Red, once this hotfix is installed, the original 8MB limit will be removed, allowing the game to continue to grow without worrying about corruption. This hotfix will correct the issue on both the PCs and consoles. However, it will not fix the game saves that are already corrupted.

Instead, I got a standard (Epic) Precision Rifle. I love that even when you blind-fire, it can headshot so consistently due to the spread pattern.

I leveled up my crafting skills and created 3 legendary weapons, including the single shot sniper rifle Ashuka that sends out a bullet that follows the target. Those bullets are fun unless you run into villains that have the perk to not be affected by smart bullets. I usually hack them and then use my legendary pistol on them. I have the DR5 Nova Power Revolver but have it upgraded to more than 1200 in damage points, along with the attached mods. That gun can usually take down enemies with one bullet hit.

It's great and only gets more insane with Upgrades & Mods, especially on the Legendary Craft.
I've been using it on my post-Main Story play-through and it hits enemies from very far away (with Mods) and makes them (or anyone near them) explode.
Currently I'm cleaning up Side Missions and trying to get more trophies connected to them but there is one area that is glitched. Literally can't finish it because none of the interactions to finish the mission work.

It sounds like this game is overpowered, without using any cheats.

It's a bit too easy to get (or craft) good weapons. You either find the actual weapon or find the plans to Craft it later in the game.
I wasn't that decked out in gear during my first play-through. It was only after I spent a ridiculous amount of time exploring, looting and doing more Side Missions Post-Game, is where I had the money & access to new/better gear.
I could see folks doing the opposite though, grinding Levels to get great gear and then tearing through the Final Act.
Hit the 74-75 hour mark today and bought all the cars available to purchase in the game. Until a patch comes out to fix the issues I mentioned above (regarding Side Missions/Gigs), I think I'm done with this game for the time being.
Guess it's time to finally start The Witcher 3!

If you ever get a chance to track the specs in one of the Side Missions, check out the Comrade's Hammer (Revolver).

There's probably a few different ways to get it but I got it through Crafting Plans I found during a Side Mission/Gig.
Forgot to mention on top of everything I mentioned, it also shoots through walls
Before I put down the game, I had it upgraded to over 2,000DPS.
The (Legendary) Ashura is nuts.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)
I just hit 20 hours in the game. When I play large open world games like this, my plan is usually to dive in to get to the meat of the main story then branch off and do a ton of side stuff. I've been playing this thinking I still hadn't scratched the surface of the main story. I just hit the quest which gives you the "no turning back" message. Is that really it? I've been doing some side quests as well already; I'd say I have 13-15 hours into main story total. I honestly thought I was still at the beginning of the journey. The side content is good but I don't get how/why they allowed the game to have 70%+ of it's content be labeled as Side Quests. Whoever was in charge of the story telling in the game should be fired. They put all this time into creating a living/breathing city that's a marvel to look at, only to slap a quick/uneventful main story on top of it.
During my 20 hours I've also had at least 30 game crashes (probably closer to 50 tbh). Sometimes it would crash 3-4 times during one quest I was trying to complete. I'd say maybe 20 cases where graphical glitches caused me to die for no reason. One time I was in a hostile area with many people and they just all of a sudden stopped seeing me. They were still looking for me and on alert but I could walk right by them without them attacking.
I haven't actually done the "point of no return" quest yet but it sounds like that's the end of the msq with an ending depending on other content you've done. There are some real gems to find in this game but it's been a huge letdown overall.

Sounds right, the average time for the main story (minimal side missions) is only about 20 hours.

I wish I had known that going in. Would have taken away a lot of the dissatisfaction that hit when I realized I was at the conclusion. The priorities of the dev team were WAY off if this is the best story they could come up with. 20 hours is being generous. 10-12 is more like it. And not just short, also uninspired. No twists or major plot points. Totally linear from the get.

For better or worse, more and more games are side-mission heavy to give the players more freedom I guess, at least with Cyberpunk it effects the endings you get.
Still a shame the core story is so short.

Even for something was was quite "linear", back in the day I thought "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" got the right balance between the basic linear core story and all the side missions. Doing all the side missions eventually gave you a 100% complete bonus, which iirc was something like more health points limit and unlimited ammo. The core missions were not completely frustrating, while some of the side missions were kinda difficult.

I'm at the final act of the game, where it says "point of no return" and to make sure I complete any gigs/side quests before going in. I'm at level 48, as well.
