I like many others had the NES as my first system. My grandparents gave it to my brother and I when I was like 4 or 5 I want to say. Got it along with Super Mario Bros. 3 and Dr. Mario. I may have gotten the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game with it at the same time as well but I don't remember for sure.

I played 2600 and Intellivision at a friend's house but never had one of my own. So this was my first system:

I tried to make up for it by getting a Wii, 360, and PS3, but now I mostly game on my phone.

TRS-80 Color Computer.
It was pretty low on specs, but it had what I consider to be one of the best video games ever made...

First was a 4 player Pong/Breakout system which was sold to purchase:
Atari 2600
Then:
Atari 800 (*why* hasn't someone "ported" M.U.L.E. for "modern" systems? It would work well on the Wii.)
Atari XE-GS (for my son - but I inherited it)
Atari 130XE
NES ('cause that's what he asked for but I bought him the computer instead)
386 processor based computer
Super Nintendo
PIII-450 processor based computer (a custom built [by me, of course] gaming system which was a "screamer" in its day)
other assorted computers
Wii (because we played Guitar Hero at a cousins' house and my wife insisted on one. I must admit, it's actually been a fun little system.)

Wow, that's dedication. Neither wanted to give up the NES, eh?
There are unofficial remakes of the game on PC:

I don't recall using the keyboard all that often but pressing those keys took some work.
