Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

I guess the main things from your decisions that will carry over to the next episode is

Spoiler:
Your relationship with Kenny (and I guess the girl) thus far, as well as whomever you picked to survive at the end. I picked the dude and was nice to Kenny most of the time, so I want to try it the other way, and be against him in the pharmacy argument.

Also was it just me or was it kind of funny how

Spoiler:
Kenny took charge of all the people in the pharmacy from out of nowhere? I didn't see him as a leader when we first met him, so that was interesting.

Sometime in June. But no firm date yet.

In last month's issue of The Walking Dead Kirkman did reveal there will be a disc version down the road.

That's excellent news, thanks. I'll most likely wait for the disc.

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

I died a lot this time around once was my mistake, one was a timed action and I wasn't fast enough, and a context sensitive one I missed. I finally got frustrated and quit for tonight. I wish I had backed up my (episode 1) save on a flash drive and could go back and start episode 2 again.

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

Why do people who bought directly from Telltale have to wait until Friday?

Hell, I still can't play the first episode on my Mountain Lion preview! At this rate, I'll just have a nice evening running through the season.

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

Story wise, this is another great episode, with some amazing moral dilemmas. But man, there is some JANK in this episode,

It's OUT? Finally. Thought I was going to go sleep, but I guess not.

Edit: Nevermind. Fucking Friday for PS3.

I thought PSN only updates once a week, on Tuesday? How could this come out on Friday?

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

Yeah that's what I though too but I heard Friday for some reason.

Edit: This is absolutely fucking ridiculous. I have everything downloaded and when I try to play episode 2 it boots me to the XMB.

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

Yeah, I really liked episode 2. My only disappointment was... big spoiler unless you've finished it:
Spoiler:
That I figured out that family on the farm were cannibals almost immediately.

The writing was really good this episode.

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

I need help on Ep 2, level 7:

Spoiler:
When I'm trying to advance to the woman who is on the stairs holding the gun, no matter how slow I go, she just shoots me. I don't get any of the dialogue options that everyone's getting on the walkthroughs I see on youtube. I got them the first two times around, but not since.

What am I doing wrong? I'm using the PS3 version. I'm thinking it's a programming error.

Here you go:
Spoiler:
Only move when she is pointing the gun at the lady. You'll step forward, then talk to her, step forward, talk to her, and so on.

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

So i installed twice and no icon, then i remembered that you had to have episode one installed. Who's bright idea was it at Telltale to make episode one required? Now i have to reinstall episode 1 and keep it installed wasting a gig of hard drive space just to play the game I bought.

Tried that about 30 times.

edit: ok.

Spoiler:
I guess the key was to take ONE STEP. I.e. move the left joy stick forward once. Not a slight inch of a step, nor a couple steps.

Maybe there was some sort of lag that was making me take more than one step when I was inching toward her.

THANKS!

Seems normal to me; its also possible that Episode 1 contains assets and the framework for the other episodes, so the other episodes rely on it to work. Just a wild guess though.

Not sure what platform you're playing on, but is 1 GB that big of a deal?

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

What a great episode/series/game.

Hopefully we won't have to wait another 2 months for the next episode.
