I have low expectations for all the light up characters after seeing Swarm only have one hand light up.

Light Core Prism Break looks so good though. I may just have to buy one of him just for looks. Too bad none of the others even come close.

Best Buy will have the Starter Pack for Giants at $49.99 on Black Friday. Series 1 characters look to be $2.99 each.

Only the Wii version listed in the ad at that price. Other systems might be the same price, but no indication yet. And the Series 1 figures will actually be $2.99.

I'm really enjoying playing this and I just completely leveled up Flashwing. I only need her soul gem and that upgrade which is located in the last level of the game. I'm working on leveling up Hot Head and I have already purchased all of his upgrades. What this game really needs at the least is some online co-op and what would be great would be a Skylanders Universe game with multiple online players with quests, adversarial matches and other things to do.

Are those the starting stats of an unused/new character? If so the max will also be different.

Health: 470 (max. 940)
Speed: 20 (max. 68)
Armor: 24 (max. 54)
Critical Hit: 40 (max. 90)
Elemental Power: 25 (max. 100)

If those you posted are the starting stats then the characters *are* different in much the same manner as the Legendary characters differ from the regular.

Just a heads up an a YMMV but if you have an FYE close to you and are in need of some actual Giants then go and check as mine had them tagged at 9.99.

My special Flameslinger came today. It's really cool looking -- while it looks gold in the picture, it's actually a reddish, metallic hue. Bronze-like. And on a regular base so it's not actually all one color. My boy will like it for sure.

Wave 3 is rumored to be out next week and Wave 4 in December.

Any idea if it will happen during the week or on BF?

I discovered a nice way to get about 6,000 coins every two minutes. It can be done after you beat the game. You can have enough money to buy all of any character's upgrades in less than 10 minutes.

Also, there is a way to get continual large amounts of XP during the last boss fight.

TRU online currently has all the Giants figures on a B1 get 1 at 50% off sale. It only works with a *single* redemption per order so shipping can kill it depending on your needs. For me it worked out OK as I picked up a Legendary Bouncer and the regular Crusher for just over $30 shipped. There's no TRU within 70 miles of my town and that's a couple of dollars less than if I were able to purchase both locally at regular price so I'm pleased.

I don't know if I believe it. I think the TRU reps they talked to were just referring to the Legendary Stealth Elf being available on Black Friday.

Edit: My daughter is asking Santa for Wham-Shell... I guess I may have to end up buying that stupid TRU Display Case.

I glanced over the review and I think the main addition was seeing the stats on the tablet while you played on the TV. Not really a big deal imo.
