Score: Cynder from Amazon, $7.99. Zoolerts rules.

I think that's all that are currently available. Zook isn't anywhere yet, is he?

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

With the 4 figures I ordered from Amazon, the 1 I found yesterday and the Crypt set I found the other day the hunt is now going to get even more difficult. Now that I have all the released add on levels and over half the figures I'm sure every time I DO find items in the store they will be ones I DON'T need.

Toy "R' US sent some half ass response to me about my earlier complaint. They said they would forward the e-mail to someone who could provide me with a better answer. Meanwhile I watched a guy yesterday clear the pegs at local TRU and I had to really bite my tongue.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I went into a Walmart yesterday that had 4 individual Cyners, 4 Whirlwinds and 2 Double Troubles. We had to go to a small town outside of Tulsa for a debate tournament so I stopped there and checked for a friend. There is no way in hell I would have found that many available for purchase in the city.

Stopped by TRU this morning just after opening... all cleaned out. Not a figure to be found.

Legendary Trigger Happy is in the wild.

I had my wife stop in TRU this morning. She said they had about 20 of them.

I'll check my TRU this week/end. If I can't find one, I might take you up on it.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

So at one time I had a few Skylanders and 1 add one level stashed away. That was before my 2 year old had to go for test after test at the local pediatrics center and nearby hospital in the past week. I surprised him a figure after blood work was done the other day to take his mind off his finger. Then today we had to go to the hospital for tests and I packed in a brand new figure to occupy him while he was there. I'm hoping for good results tomorrow and if I don't get them I'm hoping that I can score more figures locally to keep him calm and happy.

This is more of an aside (and I hope your 2 year old is ok), but does he play the game at all, or watch you play? I introduced my 2 year old to the game and she loves the characters going on the screen (in fact, at times she won't let me replace them for certain levels!). Even a simplistic game like this seems like it would be too hard for her to control, though, and the game is a bit violent.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

As I just posted in the SSX game, which he can play, he sucks at Skylanders. He just walks into objects and repeatedly hits the same button. Thankfully he loves to help me with the portal that I setup on his table with our figure holder. I'll tell him what figure I want and he swaps them out as I need them. Obviously he loves the figures without the game so we play with them a good bit as well.

Anyone using an app to track the figures they have? I'm using one on my Droid and the damn thing reset the figures we own when the thing updated the other day. Might just keep a document on my phone with owned ones listed.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I stopped at TRU on the way home. They had a ton of singles: Boomer, Hex, Dino Rang, Wrecking Ball, Drobot, and Eruptor.

The girl working the Video Game area said they hadn't seen any of Legendaries nor the new Adventure Pack.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Checked TRU this morning... no sight of Legendary Trigger Happy or the new Adventure Set.

The guy working the game section said they're getting more stuff on Wed and Fri (wasn't specific on what kind of stuff). I'm gonna call them and see if they get anything.

My 4 year old loves it (she turned 4 in September and we got them the game for my 6 yr old's birthday in January).

They have more problems when they fight about which way to go than controlling the game. For quite a while I had to help them out with the FPS-style shooting parts (where they shoot at the airships with the cannons).

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

^Page shows limit 1 per (about time TRU!!!) - but it will not add to the cart. I get a "The following item: Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Pack - Legendary Trigger Happy has limited inventory. We've adjusted the quantity below to reflect the number we have available. " message and there's nothing but an empty cart. Blech!

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

For those that don't know, all versions are $35 at TRU this week. I might get the 3DS version just for shits and giggles though I don't need another Stealth Elf.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Saw signs at the local TRU this weekend saying that the Skylanders (at least the singles) would be restocked on March 21. Not sure if that's just a local thing, though.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

It's not, there's a store manager posting on CAG saying they are holding everything until the 21st and they are doing a ticket thing at opening. Get in line, get a ticket. You get a single Skylander to buy. Not one of each of the new ones, one figure.

Pretty fucking lame.

I blame MasterofDVD...

I don't expect much of a response but I feel better getting it off my chest.
