I found this on IGN, may help: http://www.ign.com/wikis/gta-5/How_t...Money_in_GTA_5

Mostly legit ways to get money, though a few "gamey" suggestions.

Driving in Chicago, I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to ram my car into a bus.

If they put everything we want into the game it would take another 5 years.

Maybe you just had far greater expectations on what you would be able to do in game then others?

No. I don't have any "iDevice". I'm talking about the in-game notifications that show up during gameplay in the top left-hand corner of the screen. A lot of the notifications are about the game's controls, but I turned those off. The notifications about the app (which honestly, are just in-game advertising) can't seem to be turned off.

Am I the only one getting these?

I have the app and it still keeps sending me those notifications. Maybe blow up the life invader office?

Nope. I get them over and over and it's definitely frustrating.

But, I don't know if you are, because I can't check the game right now.

Yeah I want to say there was a tab for 'notifications' and it had about 10-12 different things you can be notified on.

The Iphone Ifruit App notification can be turned off in that App.

You can turn off the actual game notifications in the game, like notifications about controls and what to do next, etc. But there's no option to turn off the notifications for the app. Why do they just assume everyone has an iPhone anyways?

Hiding from cops is definitely the way to go in this game. Lots of places to do it, too.

Its easier to shake 2 stars..but once the helicopters get involved it gets much more difficult.

Glad you can get rid of the 2+ star wanted levels again, the past couple installments you couldn't shake jake unless you had 1 star.

Not fucking with anyone, that's how it worked for me. I got a text saying that the order was received and to bring my 'Tornado' by the Customs shop. I did the app before the game came out, no car or vanity plates ever showed at my house/garage, even with me waiting and checking for several play sessions. After a while I received the text mentioned on my prompts. Only after repairing the tornado I brought to the shop did the option to have them perform the customization I chose appear. Once done, every car in my garage/driveway had my chosen license plate. Not sure why it would be a waste of his time to try it, or why you'd assume I'd have been 'fucking with him'.

Brooklyn is right. You drive the car in, fix it, and then there's an option to "process order" after which the license plate and other customization appears.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

And I waited and it eventually showed up sitting in my garage (with a text msg) like it was supposed to. I didn't have to do any of that stuff and I also did it on the app before the game came out fwiw.

Because he tried that and it didn't work. Which is probably because of the same reason it isn't in his garage to start with, because the app isn't all that reliable.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I've ditched the cops with a three star rating before, but they do pursue you relentlessly. I was hiding under a bridge, and they stopped their cars and one said "I think he went under there" and they found me.

I eventually lost them in the train yards.

As for the suit thing, I didn't have a suit in my wardrobe either. I ended up buying a $3,000 one. On the first heist I
Spoiler:
paid for the top hacker, and driver, and skimped on the guns because I thought we wouldn't need them doing the silent approach. My cheap ass gunman crashed his bike and the 1.4 mil he had with him was lost. I ended up clearing only $80k for Michael after the Mexican guy was paid back.

Oh and I was driving a semi I found on the freeway, just crashing into cars for fun, and I noticed the freeway had the little grooves on the shoulder designed to wake you up if you fall asleep and drift over. Just like we have here in California (and probably other places). It was a nice touch.

Then I crashed my truck into a ditch and couldn't get it out. I was pissed and shot at it, and didn't see the pool of gasoline forming underneath the hole in the fuel tank.

Whoops.

Loved the little touch of grooves on the outer roads..but what surprised me was grooves also in the suicide lanes!

Same thing happened to me, except Franklin was able to pick up the share from the guy who fell.
