My fears get smaller and smaller as I watch more video. I hope these developers do the MW series justice.

Does anyone have info on what the original developers are up to now?

Probably working on a new FPS for EA. Oh and fighting a legal battle with Activision.

I agree, but it makes it sound like you're 'getting more for your buck', plus a lot of people don't even play the campaign mode anymore. They also couldn't advertise it as "Look, no extra features, but we made the campaign longer!" without taking a beating. Personally, I LOVE the MW campaigns...I hated the WaW one, and didn't even play Ops past the second level, but I am drooling over MW3's already.

I wish they would start selling mw or any fps in two separate releases; $30 for the sp campaign and $30 for online.

How much is that Hardened Edition going to cost? With previous games, it was only $20 more than the standard edition. But if this one includes future DLC Map Packs, I wonder if they're going to push the price higher.

One rumor I heard was 130 euros which would be about $185.

Are you sure that's not the Prestige Edition? Those are usually around $150.

I'm guessing the Hardened Edition will probably be around $90, maybe $100.

I'm going with the standard edition. Elite is nice for stat tracking but the premium features don't interest me at all. I also don't need a tin can to store my game in or a 100 page book I'll never look at.

I do just fine at balancing time for all of my hobbies, but thanks for your continued concern.

On topic, I'm looking forward to playing the campaign of this game, which is pretty much the only aspect of CoD games that interests me. I won't pick it up on release day, though, with Skyrim coming out just 3 days later.
