While some of you were playing NCAA Football (
) we had a few fun maps with friz, my bro, and an old high school friend who used to post here. I picked him up a copy of the Greatest Hits edition when it was on clearance at Best Buy for $5 a few months ago so he only had the four original Conquest maps (Atacama Desert, White Pass, Laguna Presa, and Panama Canal - who knew?!) and we had to enter new games as he got dropped when it would want to go to DLC maps but it was fun playing with him for his first night.
Chess, can you please add B. to the roster on Post #1:

Since he hasn't posted in DVDTalk in around ten years I think he'd be a non-DVDTalker. Maybe that could change, though, who knows...

Also added him to the list.
I probably need to get Inoru-K off of there. I think I might have seen him playing hardcore a while back under a different user name...something like InnoruK.
I've been playing a lot with hawg, big hurt and another guy...might add them soon.

Inoru-K or InnoruK or whatever is some sort of Everquest reference or something and I've seen several people with a user name of that sort.
I was wondering why you messaged me "hawg" last night. Had no context!

For some reason, I had it in my head that I met them through you, and you'd know what I meant, but now that I think about it, I think I met them through Lee. Sorry about that.
Too bad about Inoru. He was fun to play with...so rare you come across a productive wookie.

Haven't seen him in a while, yeah. Same with a few fellas from this thread, even, which is also too bad.
I love that B's number one weapon on his stats banner is the Anti-Air Gun from his double-kill on Atacama Desert. Pretty sure that's a weapon that's rarely someone's number one weapon and as for B I doubt that will last long!

Yep, loads going on lately. Have only had time for my NCAA leagues and then when I could have played this weekend I had a nasty ear infection that I'm still trying to get over.

I'm not done. Just taking a little break and getting to some other games I've been neglecting (my unplayed pile is massive). I'll hop on with you guys now and then.

re: Battlefield Talk
I'll definitely be back in full force, soon. My internet was having issues for a while-- so, while I'd show up on PSN, I'd constantly get kicked/not connect to servers. (Thus, I'd putz around on NCAA-- which didn't require a constant connection.) It seems to have sorted itself out now.
I was also out of town for the better part of a week for a wedding. This week's a little rough schedule-wise, but I should be on at some point.

You know Chess we definitely get our moneys worth out of NCAA. I'm just sayin. First taste is free. Then you gotta buy the rest.
(plus it seems like Rice is going to be abandoned.)

BTW, you can let him know that the M249 SAW is the first medic gun unlocked at 3300 points (i.e. probably a game or two), and that he can equip that sumbitch and never look back. Red dot comes at 14,700 points.

Until NCAA 2012 I hadn't played one since the PS2 era either and not regularly since Genesis days. Join us. It wouldn't be hard to pick up.

The only sports games I really enjoyed were for the original NES: Tecmo Bowl, RBI Baseball, and Cyberstadium Base Wars.
