I hear BL2 is going to be $25 at Wal-Mart on Black Friday...assume Amazon will match with a lighning deal.
Make that shit happen, or I'll give you "the look".

On my radar already punk. I think Most Wanted is also a BF deal which is at the top of my wish list.

My wife has issues with Wal-Mart (WM hate feels outdated and under-informed to me but I get it) and I have issues with Best Buy so we'll have to hope I don't miss the Amazon lightning deal pricematch. Although then I'd have to wait for it to be shipped, etc. Hmm, decisions, decisions.

I'm sure one of us would be willing to pick it up, etc if it had to come down to it, or, do like I said before... Take the ad to another store that you like that will price match the ads.

If you only bought stuff from retailers and manufacturers with decent corporate policies and responsibility, then you would have to make all your crap yourself.

I saw Spatch and about 6-8 other folks from my friends list were on BC2 yesterday. I was pretty tempted to fire it up, but we caught up on Walking Dead instead.

I think I saw that will be on sale for BF somewhere, too, so I'm hoping to pick that up, too.

Pretty close to migrating back to BC2. I feel a little bit guilty every time I look at my friends list and 5-6 people are on BC2, often including Spatch.

re: Battlefield Talk
The "Aftermath" DLC came out for BF3 Premium members yesterday. 4 new maps, all "post-earthquake" themed. 3 new vehicles and the crossbow as a new weapon. Also there's a new game mode called Scavenger. It's Conquest, except every time you spawn you only start with a pistol and have to find better weapons lying around on the ground (similar to Gun Master except when you die, you go back to pistol only). Very tough. I only had 2 kills my first round, although I haven't played BF at all in the last few months.
I know the regulars in this thread are pretty committed to BFBC2, but if there's anyone out there (lurkers, etc) that want to join me in getting my ass handed to me, I'd appreciate it. I'll play any mode, not just the new stuff. I'm still trying to finish up the assignments from the first 3 add-ons too.

thinking of picking up BFBC2 since it's dropped to $20. Seems like people are still playing unlike the annoyance that was Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

I usually play at least once a week or more, depending on how busy I am with school and work. Find me.

re: Battlefield Talk
BFBC2 didn't come with an online code per se. Online multiplayer access was still "free" back when it came out.
The Ultimate Edition did come with codes, but they were for the VIP pack (all the map packs) and 1943. But it should definitely come with those because that's technically what made it the "Ultimate Edition".

Yes, but the codes also had expiration dates printed on them. Whether or not the acutally honor those dates (or whether they've put new versions on the shelves with later dates on them) is another matter, but the codes in my game are technically past the expiration date
