I've yet to recruit the Asari. Despite the game saying my chances are "poor but measurable", and without giving any spoilers, am I in good shape for at least a decent ending?

2800 is the threshold to get a 3rd option at the end.

5000 is the threshold to have an extra "something" at the end, though other decisions may rule it out anyway (and the "something" can happen at 4000, actually, if the correct choices have been made).

effective...and just to add...the little extra for having over 4000 (or 5000 if you make the wrong choice) is like a 2 second clip at the end...it is not worth it...

finally got my 5000 kills...now I hope future dlc is not stupid and adds something like 20,000 kills for an achievement....

No, the mission after that is the one you can't turn back from. It starts the final push.

Roc, I don't support the fact that they threw multiplayer in, but it took me a couple hours of online horribleness to up my ems. I love this series so much I wanted to do the best possible. I basically finished the game a day later than I otherwise would have.

Is your next mission Priority Horizon or Priority Cerberus Headquarters? It is the Headquarters one that starts the end game...

I don't think you will get any more war assets from missions at this point...only side missions...

There's an online pass code that must be redeemed to play the multiplayer. You can also buy it for 800MSP if you get a used copy.

As good as the character designs in this game were, I really though Kei Leng was the worst. Uber generic attempt at "badass". He looked like an off brand version of Nightwing.

Agreed. Not to mention the third-act introduction. During theI kept thinking "Who is this, again?" Apparently he's a bigger presence in the Mass Effect novels.

Kai Leng looks like a cheap attempt to placate the Asian market. When I saw him the first thing that came to mind was Raiden in MGS4.

That's exactly what I thought too. I think we should start an online petition to get a patch that changes the story to that.

I just tried a bit more multiplayer and although I got my Galactic readiness up by 5% (*sarcastic "yay"*), I just can't keep playing it. It's just so monotonous. I think they really overdid it with the 50% penalty.

Well, I gave into the aweful multiplayer.

TMS: 6910
GRR: 66%
EMS: 4560

Just 9% more to get to 5000+ EMS.

Be aware that GRR steadily decreases. I don't know if anyone has figured out how much, exactly, but when I was playing it seemed like 1% every time I stopped playing (i.e., it was always 1% less than last time when I loaded up the game), plus 1% every day automatically. Gotta keep that multiplayer alive!

So I've read. Apparently it drops around 3% every 12 hours.

Of course right now I'm having a hard time connecting to a match. I figure if I can get to 75% that's enough to then play the rest of the SP campaign.

That said, I saw that there's a game file you can mod to keep your Galactic Readiness at 100%. I may have to look into that because I really don't like this game's MP and I hate that it's basically forced on you.
