Target is pissing me off. I'm temptd to cancel my order with them and order one of the PC CE's that popped up again over at Amazon.

Of course right after I pay for the dlc and start downloading it, I find out that its back in stock at Amazon. Well it says ships in 8 to 9 days. It might not come, but I would have tried.

I got 8 hours in...now I am leaving for my trip.

So far it is has been a blast, and not super hard, but the last mission I did (not sure what the name is but you have to rescue some biotic kids at a school) was harder than anything in Mass 2 on Insanity...not pull hair hard, but still hard....

Played through the DLC tonight.

I doubt anyone who didn't play the first would understand the last half of the story since there's a lot o callbacks to parts of the first game.

I'm amazed at all the tie-ins to previous games. On my last mission, a locked weapons cache room was opened for me by a character I chose to help in a DLC mission from ME2. I guess it's possible that another character might've been plugged into that same role if I hadn't previously played that specific DLC or saved that particular character, but still...impressive.

Took yesterday off to finish up ME2 and then wait for UPS to deliver my Collector's Edition from Amazon. So I finish up everything in ME2, and wait. And wait. And wait. Finally around 6:30pm I check the tracking info and it says UPS delivered it to my door at 5pm.

Check door... nothing. Check around house... nothing. Walk the street checking other doors... nothing. Not to mention that when the UPS truck enters my neighborhood my dog always goes nuts, and also the view from where I game is a window overlooking the street. UPS never so much as came into the neighborhood, much less delivered anything anywhere.

Call UPS. They say I have to initiate via Amazon. Call Amazon. They like to wait 2 days before doing anything because "it might show up... this happens all the time". $5 credit for my trouble.

Hit the town looking for the CE. Not only is it out of stock everywhere, but the 360 version is sold out everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Plenty of PS3 copies, but not one single 360 copy at 3 Targets, 2 Best Buys, Kmart or Toys R Us.

On the couple of occasions I've experienced that kind of thing with UPS, it turned out they had handed it off to my local USPS for whatever reason and it was delivered in the mail the next day.

That sucks hardcore.

This is also why I will never mail order anything that I want to have on release day. I don't know how you guys can temp fate with this shit!

Is it just me or are there very few people you can actually choose to go on missions? So far I only have four, and I'm about 12 hours into the game.

On the Xbox 360... my private terminal emails. There's a scrolling icon on the bottom that would indicate to me that there is more to read, but I can't go past the Eden Prime email. Am I crazy or is there a way to get there that I'm not seeing?

This has literally never happened to me before with Amazon, and we probably get 1-2 Prime packages a week. Also, there was nowhere in town to go and pick up the CE.

So how long before someone says "I just beat it, and...."

I think I'm on a glitch loop on one of the story line missions during the Turian Platoon mission on Tuchanka. I get to this wall that let's you pick up the Reaper black star weapon but you can't progress any further and no enemies will spawn. Anyone run into this yet on this particular mission? Going to try to restart the mission when I get him but it was bugging the hell out of me last night trying to figure out somewhere to go.

Out of hundreds upon hundreds of packages shipped to me, there has been a mistake only twice; one was that they dropped it off at a neighbor's doorstep (got it that same night) and the other was that UPS lost it but it was delivered by USPS the next day. For the money I've saved, that is so worth it.
