Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Love the game...only two complaints so far:
1. Board is too transparent at times 2. With this many songs available and HMX not budging on deletion, an option needs to be made where a song can be unchecked so it doesn't even show up in quickplay. Rating lighters isn't good enough. |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I'm surprised that isn't a filter option.

I thought a rating of 1 lighter essentially means you never play it again?

True..but as Liver mentioned, I just don't want to see them. I am at about 700 songs...and I would love to have about 80 or so removed. Like in sports games or whatnot, you can uncheck songs in the options so they aren't played. And since deletion is too difficult at this point with large packs, there should be an option to just uncheck songs.

Okay I understand now, but I thought the filters in place now mean you're not scrolling through a list of 700 songs?

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I want it so I can only see songs by the band Filter.

Good job with the website, Harmonix. The web-enabled cross-platform synergy is palpable.

Started doing some road challenge and dabbled with the keys. I loved playing Midlife Crisis. More FNM please.
Still pretty lame that the RB site and import ability for PS3 are not available yet on launch day. I don't really want to get too far into the career stuff without having more songs available. I've already gotten Under the Bridge twice in back to back sets on random 90's. |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Are we already done talking about how fucking terrible Phish is? :(

I think I'm just in a bad mood because my workplace blocked a whole bunch of gaming sites today, and I'm at work, not at home playing RB3. |

This is the third "core" Rock Band release. You'd think they would have this shit figured out by now.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Trying to rate songs when you have >800 songs is pointless. Every time I assign a rating, it freezes the thing for almost 10 seconds. Disappointing.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Hasn't it become apparent by now that Harmonix is a "fun" company to work for? They are probably too busy running around pulling pranks on each other to bother with the important stuff. Pretty much everyone that works there seems to act like a bunch of immature little kids in every interview, tweet, forum post, and blog posting they do.
