Do you have a valid reason why they aren't available individually or are you just blindly defending the act?
I just remember reading somewhere that they'll be available as singles after this first week promotion. |

I'm not defending the act at all. I think it's kinda silly to have every pack available as singles for 3+ years and then not do it with this.

Can the drummers out there recommend a handful of tracks from the Jimi Hendrix Experience? I've seen the charts, but which ones really are the most fun?
From what I've sampled, I think Axis was a better drums album, almost every song was a lot of fun, although some are a bit too tough for me. |

I haven't spent a lot of time with the last album (Are You Experienced?), but I can probably recommend some tonight. I can say I hated the live version of Fire, it was way too frantic. There was also another one off of the latest album I didn't like.

The only DLC that doesn't transfer is the stuff that came out on (I think9/15/09). Dinosaur Jr., Tenacious D, Anvil, and The Guess Who. This is due to a flag in the metadata accidentally being set to 0 instead of 1. This will be fixed.
Edited to add: checked to find both Guess Who and Tenacious D songs from 9/15/09 transferred over fine. |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
My friends and I picked up the game at our local Best Buy which was open until midnight. Only about 4 people showed up for Rock Band 3 and the Keyboard. We got it home and played until 4 in the morning. Bohemian Rhapsody was such an epic closer! This game is great.

Definitely not the case here (PS3 if that matters). As mentioned, neither Hier Kommt Alex by Die Toten Hosen, nor Rock n Roll Star by Oasis show up in RB3 for me, or in the music store accessed via the RB3 disc. Possibly another glitch?

Rock n Roll Star is one of my favorites, that better get fixed fast.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Launch day of RB3 and the RockBand website is down? Somebody dropped the ball bigtime :(
I mean it's not like they had any notice of the date or anything... |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
It sure would be nice if the RB forums were up so that we could ask about these mysteriously missing songs, only to have the HMX folks ignore us and then post an answer next week.

Because it's not a PSN code, it's a Harmonix code. This is why I said you do it through the game. Don't enter the dashes.

I know - my point was, right now when you select redeem code in game, it brings up the standard PSN 12-digit code entry interface. I'm not sure how that's going to change just because the store gets updated.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I am betting that like with a lot of codes now a days you have to go to the website, either gamestop.com or rockband.com somewhere and put it in there, pick your platform and then it generates a code dependant on your platform.
Here's the instructions if they didn't give them to you http://www.gamestop.com/gs/ravecode/ it appears that you should be able to redeem in game, maybe you should call gamestop. |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Had to enter my code like 5 times to get it to work.
So far not immediately impressed by the menu system, maybe I just need to get used to it. |
Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
Menus are really awesome once you get used to them. Way easier to find stuff as compared to RB2, especially when you've got a huge library.
