Has anyone else felt that it is easier to fail out in RB3? I felt like it was this way with pro drums since I first got it. I noticed there is a growing thread on RB.com and HMXThrasher replied that they are aware of this and looking into it. When I first noticed this, I thought it might of been something specific with either pro drums or just pro mode in general, but people in that thread seem to be talking about all instruments. However there are of course plenty of others saying it seems exactly the same.

I *really* want those Spinal Tap shirts for my band. I just wish they were unlockable by a goal or achievement. There's no way I'm paying for clothing. (Unless I have a drunken moment of weakness.)

Is anyone else completely uninterested in playing a lot of the songs in the RB3 set list? I think I have about 20 songs still that I just can't get past hearing the preview to bother playing. Either they sound like it would be annoying to play, or just boring. I really like about 1/4 of the setlist, but the rest I just feel like they are only decent or worse. I'm probably alone in all this, but I think I enjoy the RB2 setlist more as far as how fun songs were for drums.

Not sure how many of the songs I've played exactly (doing exclusively road challenges for now), but the only song so far that I've absolutely 100% hated was HIM. Totally lifeless song and it just sucked all of the energy out of the room. It has the dubious distinction of being the first song to get 1 Lighter.

I finally picked up a PSN $20 card today so I could do the RB2 export, and I came home to find out that the PlayStation network is down for maintenance until 7:30. Great.

So whats the verdict? Is this much better than RB2? I wanna try the keybaords but should I wait for is it worth the price right now?

I'm reserving final judgment until all the online functionality begins to work, but until then I'd definitely say if you enjoy the RB franchise this is a game you should be playing.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution
I would rather have them surprise us with updates to about 100 old DLC tracks in which they added Pro guitar and/or keys. I would gladly pay a buck a piece to update a ton of my old music to play pro guitar on. I don't like anything on the RB3 disc enough to want my pro guitar yet, but I would kill for one if they updated a bunch of old top selling DLC!

Well if The Final Countdown isn't the first song updated for keys I'm going to be as angry as everyone in the Rock Band forums is for whatever reasons they're so angry for.
