Anyone?
Looks like Steam has a sale today where you can buy Civ V for 25% off. Is there any benefit of doing it this way rather than getting the boxed version? It says PC + Mac, does that mean it can be played on both seperately, or would I have to uninstall her Mac version to install on my PC if I wanted to play?

Typically games on Steam that have a PC and Mac version allow you to have them installed on both computers (Steam allows you to install any of their games on multiple computers). You can only log into one Steam account at a time to play it so you two couldn't play against each other online with only your one license.Originally Posted by TLwizard

As to your other question, some Steam games allow you to connect to the online to validate and then play the game in offline mode (thereby not needing an internet connection). I think Civ V operates like that but I can't guarantee it.
