It was for those who pre-ordered from Gamestop or Amazon. Any other places? You may have to get the Platinum trophy (ha!) or see if they offer it for a fee at some point.

Or if you REALLY want them now, you can always use eBay. It looks like the going rate is $7.99.

I think I remember seeing Best Buy on the list as well, but I don't know about other places.

Yes, Best Buy had the stadiums pre-order bonus as well.

I got my code, too. Not sure if I'll use it or not. I assume the classic stadiums will be available for a price on the PSN later? I wonder if I should just eBay the code

I found a couple more glitches. I hit a ball off the top of the wall, and it bounced far away enough from the outfielder that I could have had a inside the parker easily. Yet, they called it a ground rule double. I checked the replay, and it didn't go over the wall at all. Pretty weird.

The other glitch was when I hit a foul ball that rolled into the dugout. Well actually it rolled towards the dugout and then inside of rolling into it, it fell through the bottom of the earth, and off the screen.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

Something wacky is going on here. Im a reliver on RTTS and I just had an inning. 2 on (1st and 2nd)..batter bunts and I throw the first, he comes off the plate all are safe, i get pulled game over. so my stats show 1 hit and 1 er and my era goes up. NO ONE scored..then on the training points update, I get a bonus for not allowing a run to score WTF...this is messing with my stats to move up in the game

They're available right now for a price of 9.99 in the PSN store. This code saves me 10 bucks and/or the hassle of chasing after the near impossible platinum.

Okay, so they wouldn't get much on eBay. I didn't know if they were pre-order only like those Mass Effect 2 codes I made a killing off of.

I thought that someone said they were getting like 7 dollars for them. Not worth the hassle of selling them to me.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

The bug/glitch fest continues:

I had a man on first, and one out. I hit a comebacker to the pitcher, that hits his leg and bounces in front of him. Clearly not a catch. Yet for some reason the runner that was halfway to second decides to run back to first. "And the first baseman steps on first and he's doubled up."

Total bullshit.

The other bug has to do with stats. In the early season, my AAA team has 8 homers, and is ranked 5th in the league. This other team has 4, and is ranked first. It was home runs for, not allowed mind you.

Annoying.

In light of all these bugs I think I'm going to hold onto the game for a week or so before opening it and see if a patch comes out. If not, then this game is going back to Amazon... it's TOTAL bullshit that there are this many glitches. It's not as if the game was a re-launch and it's not as if it needed anything major done to it. 09 kicked ass --- so wtf happened?

Glitches are being currently being collected at Operation Sports, and the team is reportedly on their post-release break.

There's no way it's going to be just a week.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

I tried to play a game online today and it was not a very pleasant experience. I guess my 1.5mbps DSL connection doesn't cut it. When I was pitching, the meter wouldn't always display and when I was hitting there was a long delay from the time I pressed the button to swing which caused me to strike out alot. Thankfully, I didn't buy this for the online experience.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

wow im really starting to get ALOT of glitches now.

1) 1 out, runner on first. batter hits into a double play. they say end of inning, but they get another batter come to the plate and it says only two outs.

2) almost all the time when the shortstop dives for a ground ball and tries to throw the ball to first or second, its almost always a wild throw. (this was similar to last year, except it constantly happened w/ the third baseman throwing to first from a ground ball)

wtf sony. u had a gem last year...what happened?!

Maybe we should put the online league on hold for a bit. At least give them time to iron out some of these problems. This sounds like an EA situation. Simply putting out last years product with a few changes while screwing up things that already worked.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

It's not saving my options for some reason. I have to change the settings again (like expanding to fill the screen and switching to "outfield" view for pitching) every time I start up the game. Unless there's something I'm not doing right, that's going to be a major PITA.

Edit: never mind, I found where you save the settings.

I haven't been able to get the online portion of this game to run smooth since its inception, so I didn't have the highest hopes we would get a good online league running anyways. I'm still in, but I expect lag.

Agreed. Let's wait another week to see what, if any, changes are made.

I also agree. Would anyone want to "test" some of the online components sometime? I have exactly zero real-life friends who a) enjoy baseball and b) have a PS3, haha.

I am trying to get into the sports games and think baseball is agood entry point. Would this be a good game for beginners? I'm hoping the arcade mode is fun enough to get my feet wet before I move onto the more advanced modes. Any thoughts?

haha for beginners? thats a tough one. this can be a very frustrating game. u really need to be able to learn the timing to hit and pitch. i strongly recommend playing the practice mode for a while until you feel are ready to step into an exhibition game... this game is much harder than mlb 2k10 and mlb the biggs!

oh yea, and what is this 'arcade mode' u are referring to??

Just for kicks I was messing around in the easy mode... and I think it's probably alright for a beginner. It's by no means the "easy" mode of other sports games, but it's pretty forgiving.

And at the very least HR Derby gives you a chance to practice timing a bit... and that's really the most important thing.

If you're into baseball, there's no better game. (Just fix the glitches!!)
