That's a long list of fixes. That update took for freakin ever this morning when I signed on to do some RTTS.

I have another quibble. Seems there's a bug where a runner can get hit with a batted ball with no consequences. I came on in relief with the bases loaded, induced what should have been an inning ending double-play groundout, but the ball struck the runner going from first to second. Run scored. Inning continued. Next batter hit a granny. Bastard.

The list of bugs is starting to piss me off. If this is essentially last years game with some upgrades wtf is up with not fixing MAJOR issues like this? While hitting a baserunner with a batted ball isn't common, it is common knowledge that the runner is out. I hope this isn't 2010's version of Front Page Sports Football where the game is completely broken.

Anybody know if the 2009 bug that prevented you from getting 250 HR's in your career is fixed?

It took that long for you? It only took me four minutes to download the update.

The career homer bug was 200 not 250. But yeah, it better be fixed.

So this is my first time playing this series. In my RTTS at some point it let me do a BP session to raise my stats. How often do you do this and is it just something random that comes up? Also are there other drills that you can do to raise skills (fielding, running, etc....)?

It was definitely more than four minutes. Loaded it up, went upstairs to get myself a cup of coffee, fed the cat... it was still going. Normally my downloads are very quick (compared to others' experiences).

Another glitch. I checked my swing, and was shown being called out, and I start walking back to the dugout.

Suddenly, one of the umpires is shown saying I didn't go around.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

That would have been fine if he had let me go back to first base

Maybe it's not a glitch. Nowadays alot of pro sports officials admit they made mistakes after the play/game is over.

Such realism

I'm not seeing that in the current live roster. Mine has Granderson and Jeter in their proper positions.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

i heard the roster update thats available now was changed to reflect that glitch and my friend mentioned similar things were like that w/ the red sox and the mets too. its fixed now im assuming.

also is anyone having issues w/ trophies? I broke a bat several times and no trophy. plus i also hit back to back homeruns w/ a-rod and tex and also hit the 2 homeruns over the green monster in fenway and didnt get those trophies either...

I'm great at the pitching, but I can't hit for beans. Any suggestions?

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

I noticed a couple more bugs. Well one isn't really a bug, but still annoying.

You get to be a so called everyday player, and still get half a dozen times off a month. That's like 36+ games off over a full season. Which makes sense if you're a 35 year old DH with bad knees, but not if you're a 20 year old hitting prospect.

Way too many dropped balls after strikeouts. I have yet to reach first safely, but still if I have to hear "He goes down swinging, but it gets away!!" one more time....

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd

So another "oddity."

First batter singled. Second singled. Runner from first was thrown out trying to go to third. One out, right? Okay, well, no. Runner is gone from second. But no out. Next batter doubles and two runs score.

Seriously, did you guys not fucking test this thing?
