Well, EA published the PC version, so unless MS signed some sort of exclus... oh, you're probably right.

(I think they just don't believe it would sell well enough after all this time. With ME on PC and Bioshock on PS3 it was only about a year later; this would be more than 3 years.)

If you're really bored and want to catch up on the first Mass Effect, it's all up on youtube.

28 parts, 7-10 minutes each. :)

Well they could've bundled the first game with the second as a sort of collection. Heck, it would have made for a great limited edition (one that isn't all fluff).

I can't remember where I read it last night, but EA is apparently adding some some story info to ME2 to help recap ME1. I don't think it's more gameplay, just probably an extended intro. Also, it looks like all the DLC from the 360 version will be included on disc for the PS3 version.

Well that's something I suppose. I guess I could always get the first game on PC to fill in the gaps. It's around $15 over at Amazon.

Re: The Official PS3 thread - Software bugs? We don't need no software bugs

interesting thing this morning, when I turned on my PS3.

I signed in, and noticed 2 friends were signed in, so I went to check who it was. And they, along with all my friends, I had never seen before, all of my friends were gone and replaced with a bunch of people playing MW2. After a bit of panic, and checking PSN online had the same - and I had somehow acquired some MW2 trophies, I came up with a possible explanation. First I changed my password online. This is what I think happened:

A month or so ago, I returned my PS3 Fat to costco -- the video was acting up (green spots), and I was afraid it was going to fry. I de-authorized the ps3, but I didn't delete anything. Now, I'm guessing whatever they do with them, send for refurb or whatever, they didn't wipe the drive. And some fool signed on with the first account there and started playing MW2.

Anything else I should worry about? There were no downloads or purchases, and it must have happened in about a 12 hour window from last night.

As long as you didn't have any credit card info on your PSN account, everything else should be fine. I guess that's a lesson to always wipe your drive from any device, PS3 or otherwise, if you are returning it.

Win some free Playstation stuff from Subway! You need a valid email address and mailing address.

You can play three times a day. You get codes at subway from their new Fiery Sandwich, on some Sun Chips and on drinks. There are also some multi-use codes that you can only use once for your account. You can win PSN codes, Modnation, LittleBigPlanet 2, Move bundle, GT5 and more. (I've already won the Uncharted 2 Siege Expansion pack!)

Here's the link: http://frenzy.subwayfreshbuzz.com/

And here are the multi-use codes that I've found:
FL32JGN6
D5E6AT3P
A27VRZ68
JT472CT9
MZA6642B
E5FBZB8C6C
AECM4478T4

Thanks for the codes. Didn't win anything today.

Re: The Official PS3 thread - Software bugs? We don't need no software bugs

On my fourth day of playing with the codes above, I was able to win High Velocity Bowling. Still enough codes leftover to try a couple more days, then I might have to start eating at Subway.

True, but just to nitpick, the account info was not stored on the hard drive. He needed to use the "Restore PS3 System" command to erase all info, on and off the drive, then maybe wipe the drive with a PC for extra protection.

I haven't won a damn thing with the Subway codes yet, but thanks for posting them!

I just won Locoroco 2 for the PSP ..... does me little good since I have a PS3

ps. I hate when LBP2 pops up because it has the CE and the regular version and it is such a tease when you first see it but then realize both versions don't match

At first I was rolling my eyes at the day-and-date Mafia II DLC, but, come to find out it's free for those who buy the game new. I guess this is their Project $10.
