There's enough in + to make it worth my time if it continues with freebies at this pace. I haven't tried the minis yet, but I will. That free DLC for games I already owned (Cuboid, Magic Orbz, Smash Cars) made it worth my while, I guess. Getting a free Qore was nice as well -- does anyone know if Qore will continue to be free every month, because if so that's a nice freebie. Already own WipEoput HD, but that would certainly be a huge incentive if I didn't (someone above posted that it's no longer free, but I couldn't confirm or deny that as WipEout, for some very strange reason, disappears from the PSN Store after you buy it).
I'll post here when I see what content they give us today. Some free stuff every week would be awesome.

Qore is set to be free every month, however you don't get the "annual subscriber" benefit. So you don't get to download High Velocity Bowling for free, etc. But you do get the monthly single ep freebies like themes and whatnot.

Here's another tidbit from the comments of that article that's important:
So, yearly PSN+ means you'll get the same benefits of Qore as a yearly subscriber of that: beta game trials, for example.
Edit: Was writing this as the same time as Wiz, so I guess we'll have to find out which is correct.
Finally to avoid these issues all together is to make it so if you buy 1 year of PS + you are a subscriber & get all the benefits there in, while if you buy the 3 month edition of PS + you only get single issues of Qore. That will fix the issues people have with it.

It's listed as free for the first month (july) so it should still be around for another two weeks. How long the bonus 3 months last, however, is a guess (and I guess through end of July as well.)

Has anybody tried adding funds to their wallet in the past 12 hours? I have a PSN card that it will recongize but when I try to confirm that I want to add the $20 to my account it says there's an error. I tried using my credit card, but that won't work either. This is both on my PS3 and through the website. (The website does give me the code: 80023103)
Anyone else had this problem?

I added funds about 24 hours ago. Cheapy D was tweeting that he was getting an error message at that time. Not sure what's going on.
I love the sweet dynamic MAG themes. Totally worth $50 right there. ..... okay, maybe not, but they are pretty nice. I've avoided paying for dynamic themes on principle, but getting these for "free" really spiffs up the user interface.

Here's a question about Plus.
It cost me $50.
I got as a free rental the Fieldrunners mini which is apparently around $7.
My gf loves the hell out of it, so I asked her how much she thought it was worth and she said $15.
Does that mean I made $8?

Also, as an aside, with all the complaints or making fun ofs Plus, what's truly the difference between a Plus membership and a Gold Live membership if you don't consider online (since for PS3 it's free, but xbox it's not)?
Both premium memberships give you discounts on games and DLC (XBL DotW is gold only), both give you early access to demos (Plus gets early Kane and Lynch 2 demo this week) and on top of that Plus gives you full games during your membership. Don't you think people on Gold would go ecstatic if MS started handing out free games? I know I would as a Gold member!
Is the flack simply because Gold membership can be rationalized because that's how you get online play and the Plus doesn't need to include that?

(Oh! Not that it really matters to this discussion, but Gold does offer a really sweet Netflix setup. But since PS3, plus or no, has netflix, it's sort of a moot point.)
