Looking @ the pictures The super slim is cheap looking. The phat and the Slim look sexy in the TV cabinet. Like Electronics. This looks like a toy.

I kept expecting my 60 GB model to croak, but it just keeps chugging along. I'd prefer to replace it with a slim rather than a circa-1989 portable CD player, but I guess i'm just going to have to wait and see..

That thing does look pretty cheap. Not sure why we need 3 different ps3 models. Hell, even the 360 only has 2

BTW : TL, thanks for the code last week. I was on vacation at the time so I didn't get a chance to try the beta out yet.

I would have bought it during the sale, but they annouced the hard copy with all the extra crap right before that, so I decided to wait for that instead.

I already have flOw (which is crappy) and Flower (which is very cool but short) and the extras look to be non-essential, so it was an easy call for me.

Can someone please PM me when they see a 1-year PSN membership go on sale? I think I'd be interested in signing up.

No there really isn't. There actually never was, but there's an active thread on CAG that used this non-deal (hoping to get a clerk to drop the price based on the brief glimpse of a mis-price on the website) to have a huge debate on the relative worth of PS Plus.

I don't know if those free games are still available, but if they are you should sign up ASAP. Like today. Even if you have to pay full price for PS+, you'd instantly get your moneys worth. Plus you'd still have 12 more months to look forward to.

Agreed. I signed up for 3 months since I had some extra dough in my wallet and I plan on keeping Plus going if they have more of these free games available.
