Darn, it must have sold out again. It would be really awesome of them if they offered a discount to those who didn't get in on it, but I won't hold my breath. Pretty damn cool that they even offered this for free considering Lesnar is fighting.

Edit: Just checked out MN's tweet: Due to overwhelming demand, additional free Pay-Per-Views for UFC 141 will be released prior to the event-Details soon

Hopefully I can get in on it when they release more. Not that the UFC owes me anything.

 Sorry about that, I guess I stopped reading after the first 4 words. Still... "Hope".

Still sold out this is dumb they never did this with any previous UFC events.

The stupid thing is I'd be willing to pay for it, but it's sold out of "free" buyers.

So, I'll watch it by alternative means like normal...

Technically all the free people are beta testing it still. Imagine someone paying 59 or whatever it is and then having an issue, people would be pissed.

I got the free month of Gold from the Bing holiday thing and found two interesting things when starting up my membership. First, it seems Xbox Live no longer allows one to add a Discover Card an account for a payment option. So, if you have one attached to your account, don't remove it. Second, Xbox Live now allows you to turn off the auto-renew online. It is about time.

Yeah, I almost posted about the auto-renew thing the other day, but figured I had lost track and it was old news. I can't keep up with whether you can turn it on/off or not.

If I turn it off now and still have a few years left from prepaid cards (good through 2014), is it going to mess with any of that?

No. I turned mine off and it didn't affect anything.

Where are these Pepsi Ski Outfit codes coming from? 12 packs? 20 oz bottles? Are they in every package or is it a random prize? I've looked online and can't find any info.

Code you enter on their website from 12-packs, it's the sorry you didn't win anything prize. I think I have at least one more to enter before it ends tomorrow.

If you get another code, could you PM it to me? I'd appreciate it if you could.

re: The official Xbox 360 thread - the console of choice on nuclear submarines

Long story short: started Disneyland Adventures, wanted to show my youngest daughter the Belle avatar marketplace item, am not a girl, they aren't even silver members.

Tried to upgrade my 11 year-old to a silver account because she already has a gmail account, but it was wanting my CC info to prove I'm an adult. I'm not about to do that so I guess my only option is to upgrade to a family account but I forgot basically everything about that.

I will research on my own, but I'm curious about those of you that did, what you think about it after the first year or so? What are the pros and cons?

The pro for me is that I have three boys 11-16 plus myself. $99 a year for our family is a great deal. Plus each account can use gift cards individually or as an allowance I can add points to each.

re: The official Xbox 360 thread - the console of choice on nuclear submarines

I've since realized that all I need are new email addresses where I lie about their ages for Silver status as I don't need Gold. D'oh! Worst case scenario is finding points to give them since I can't disburse from my account as needed.
