Re: The Saboteur

I think this is the most underrated game of the decade. If they could have just had a little more time to polish it up.

Re: The Saboteur

Maybe not the most underrated but I haven't had fun in a long time like with this game.

It was worth $60 for me.

Re: The Saboteur

I have been seriously addicted to this game for the last couple of weeks. Completed the main game and thought it was altogether brilliant. I am spending my time cleaning up the city now. I actually enjoyed the racing sections and did not find them too taxing. I actually really enjoyed the one race where you can push your opponents into the explosive barrels. Made it a lot of fun. I have had it go weird on me a couple of times, but not enough for it to cause any major complaints. Its such a shame that we will never see a sequel. This Red Dead Redemption and Just Cause 2 have been my favorite plays in a long long time.

My Target had it clearance for $13 for 360. Wanted to play it and at this price, it was worth it.

Yes, there are some bugs and driving does feel "broken." However, it's still fun as all hell to take out the enemies after finishing the "main mission."

Yeah, one of the few (2 or 3) games that I have 100%.

It is amazing. THe first few missions were by far my least favorite.

It's been great so far. The driving is a little clunky, but the climbing and zip lining places is a lot of fun.

Re: The Saboteur

You will get the driving down to where it is effortless...trust me.

If you are loving it now, it will only get much, much better.

Sneaking up and breaking a Nazi's neck, stealing his uniform, and infiltrating bases while shooting unsuspecting Nazis with a silencer is a good stuff.

And make sure you make your own movie moments with the dynamite/rdx and walking away while adjusting the camera behind you. Once again, good stuff.

Just a great game...crazy underrated.

I don't see why a sequel would be necessary. It takes place in a specific time period and the Nazis were defeated, weren't they? What's next?

Maybe something in Russia during the Cold War?

It does not have to be the same character, more like what they did with GTA....I would preorder it right now....

Yeah, definitely got the driving down now.

I love the color to black and white transitions when going from place to place. Can't believe how many freeplay targets there are. Looks like I'll be putting a nice chunk of time into this game.

Re: The Saboteur

I bought this game a few months back and it's been sitting on the shelf ever since. I did manage to play it for an hour or two, but I just didn't get into it.

Still, I haven't traded it in yet, and I'm sure I'll be looking for something to play sooner or later, so I'll probably hold onto it. It's threads like these that keep me excited about it.

Did you just do missions, or did you try going around to blow up targets? You might want to blow up some targets if you haven't done so yet. If you try to get 100%, that's the majority of the game.

Re: The Saboteur

Finished up the main story line. A lot of fun. Now to hit all the freeplay targets. Does anyone know if you can destroy the checkpoints?

Re: The Saboteur

No, I mean you can kill the Nazis there but after a few minutes new ones will show there, or what do you mean with that?

Yeah thats what I meant. Would be nice if you could use RDX and completely destroy them. It gets annoying having to escape every time you blow through one of them.

Well, if you're not "wanted" you can always stop and show them your papers. I don't remember if every checkpoint is like that or not though.

Yeah I've noticed the papers only work on some of them. Other ones they just start shooting as soon as I pull up. Could be a glitch.

This game is load of fun though. I love the "Touch of Death" perk.

Re: The Saboteur

Anybody interested in this game, I just ordered it used from gohastings.com for 7.96 shipped. They are running some sweet deals right now. I've been wanting this game for a while and that price is great. Use code 111010 at checkout to get free shipping. Reading the last several posts has me pretty excited about finally getting to play it.
