Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

A few more on sale this week, World War Z, Addams Family, and Curse of the Elder Gods.

Since I just started back with these sales, what is still missing but may return? I know that Walking Dead and Portal aren’t coming. The Aliens pack, the Bethesda pack, the Fox animation pack, the pack that was the old Zen pinball originals (Tesla, Shaman, V12, and El Dorado), and a few misc originals like EDF, Mars, and Paranormal. Is that all of them?

Heads-up : Wrath of the Elder Gods : Director's Cut is free on Pinball M, so no need to buy a copy here.

From FX3, that looks right. Some other older tables from FX2 didn't make it forward like Rocky & Bullwinkle, Street Fighter II Turbo Edition, Ms Splosion Man, Plants vs Zombies and a few originals like Nightmare Mansion.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

First new DLC for Pinball M, System Shock Pinball, comes 2/15.. I'm not at all familiar with the original game, or the 2023 remake, so I don't have much nostalgia for this property. The table looks pretty cool though.
Interestingly, this will be the first table where you can buy the DLC on one game (Pinball M or Zen Pinball) and get the other version for free. Just an M-rated and a T-rated version of the tables. With, I assume the usual extras, which are different for the two game overworlds.

System Shock was great. I never played the remake though.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

I thought we might some day get more tables for Universal Pinball, but I honestly never anticipated this set coming :

Glad that, unlike their first set, they're using the licensed music here.

Thank goodness. How awful would it be to play a Knight Rider table without the classic theme!

It would probably be a lot like playing ET or Jaws themed table without the John Williams music. Or a Back to the Future table with neither Huey Lewis nor Alan Silvestri.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

That looks great. Even has the recent bus scene.

I guess I am fucked on the new Pinball FX and M releases though. I never had any issues with their previous releases but I still have lag on the newest FX platform and I get a ton of random stuttering with the balls on the M release.

It sucks because I would definitely buy all the M tables and the newer ones on FX that I don't have on the prior iteration. But guess that will have to be if I even get a new TV. All I can guess is it is my TV which is around 6 years old. Maybe it can't handle it but I don't get these issues with any other games at all. I don't know if it is the speed of the ball or the refresh/framerate or what. I put it in Game Mode for my TV but it does zero good. Only happens with these two new games. I play on the Xbox Series X...or whatever the newest one is called. I can't remember after all their dumb names.

Decent game. Designed by Jack Danger but only $2000 left than a Stern Pro that is much more robust of a game and a better build quality.

If these were $2500 they’d be a no brainer.

New Pinball M table, in time for Halloween. Launches tomorrow.
Looks like it was intended to be Friday the 13th, but never locked down the license. But man, they came close.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Got the Friday the 13th inspired table. It's very good. The best in a while. Also gives you access in both games, but I don't really know why you'd play the tamer version. Haven't checked that one out yet.
Either way, $5 well spent

I totally agree. I played the demo due to your recommendation and bought it immediately. Very fun table. Shame it wasn't an official FT13th table.

Re: The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Many DLC tables and table packs are on sale for the Switch version, for one more week. I believe they will all be compatible with Switch 2, so they'll be good for years going forward. I was happy to buy some, yet again. Fun to play my favorite tables on plane flights.
