One guy in twitter is going to give some codes, he got 800 new followers in half an hour. Yeah.

Always amazes me how this stuff leaks.

It's not a leak. Giant Bomb gave out codes too, valid starting today (if not sooner, they just gave them out this week).

Yeah, even Bungie is giving away codes in Twitter and Facebook.

I got a code...it was this morning it showed up in my inbox.

I'm just glad I hung onto my ODST disc. I'll give this a try next week for sure.

I hope they make dramatic improvements from the beta because in my opnion this feels like like a third rate game. Its almost like the game mechanics just dont work, it was very rigid and was like playing a ps2 or xbox multiplayer game. Was really hyped about all the new implimatations, but none of them seem to go anywhere.

beavis, IMHO (and I'm not a HUGE Halo fan anyway), there's not a lot of new here to bring someone like me in. I'm sure the faithful will enjoy the new life, for what it's worth, that's been injected to the online game, but I daresay this won't be enough to pull people away from MW2, BF:BC2, or RDR (if that turns out to be as awesome as it looks).

if it is a code to play the game, i thought that you jsut pop the ODST game in and the option is now highlighted to play Beta. if the code is to play the Beta then i didn't know that, nor do i know where to get a code for it.

There are more sites than this on the net, most of which are discussing the beta as well. Doing some looking should tell you there is an early beta going on now for journalists, friends, family and contest winners that doesn't require ODST.

I don't think it is a BFD.... however, you need to realize that most people don't get every single piece of information from one website. Most people don't use one forum as their one stop shop. You are welcome to do so - but realize you are going to get some shit.

And yes, it takes one post to answer a question, but it takes one word to make google your bitch and retrieve any possible piece of information you could possibly want. Want to know the mating dance of a western grebe? What about the price of rice in china? It's all there. All I ask is that instead of making this forum your own personal Yahoo Answers page that you actually type your question into google first - if then you get no answer that works ask it here. And if you would, provide proof of your search so we can better help you hone the skills of self service.
