Thank you much for the offer.....does anyone know just which types or how many of these are out there? And sorry but are they in certain areas or just super random?

WOW ...that's an impressive list. Hard to say which one or two really stands out though the Maliwan Tsunami SMG and the Atlas Aries Pistol stand out for me.

Re: Borderlands

Finally beat this last night. Absolutely loved it and will be doing some online run-throughs now. I'm annoyed at myself for not looking at that website earlier, as I didn't realize there were actually special effects on certain weapons. I wonder what sort of gems I sold off?

I was disappointed with The Vault though, I thought there would be a big store of booty, but I got nothing.

When you're ready for a second playthru keep me in mind. I've got two characters that I need to get started and another one about 2/3 done minus "Knoxx". The second is more challenging, more money, better weapons, tougher enemies, etc...

If we ask "pretty please" to a few here that's level 58-61 to tag along it'll make quick and semi-painless. Just don't tag along with them or your ass will be sore for days...trust me...I know.

Re: Borderlands

Just got and installed the expansion pack today. I figured there would be a code, but it's just a disc. Does that mean I can go ahead and sell it off now?

If it's anything like the discs in ME and FO3 GotY editions you can share sell it without issue!

Just make sure you back up the content to your PC for safekeeping

Re: Borderlands

I don't recall if this has been asked/answered and I haven't found a definitive answer:
Assuming the 360 version, and that all players are Gold members, can two people playing splitscreen co-op on one 360, play 4 player with 2 others playing splitscreen co-op?

I just bought Knoxx and wow we got stomped the first time we went there. We're back in Zombie Island now to collect many many brains and hopefully level up a bit to make Knoxx a little less painful.

Re: Borderlands

I'm getting the 360 version in the mail this week from Goozex. If anyone is interesting playing, maybe next weekend, with a newbie, feel free to send me an XBL friend request.

Sadly, no, you can not play split screen on live. makes me sad.

and for knoxx, not a bad idea to get up to 52 or 53 to get going. the first guys you encounter rocked me

Correct me if I'm wrong but doen't it make a difference if you're in 1st or 2nd playthru? The first time I did i went with my Siren (1st playthru) and we did pretty good. She ended up Level 47. But I just started Knoxx with my Hunter (2nd playthru) and even at Level 55 it's no pushover.

Re: Borderlands

Ack! My Borderlands disc is cracking from the inside ring out in 4 places! The cracks haven't reached the data yet, but I just installed the game to the HD so if the cracks do get to the data, it'll still be playable. I've seen this on $15 dvds before, but not on $60 games. What a gyp.

no, playthroughs are the same, at least thats my understanding. i've only played it on playthrough 2. if you're level 55 you should be just fine. knox is lvl 56 the first time you fight him. you need better weapons then i think you know where to find them buzz

Re: Borderlands

The playthroughs aren't the same. I was a lvl. 50 and started Knoxx on Playthrough 2 and got my ass handed to me. Realizing that I was on P2, I switched to P1 and was mowing down enemies left and right. There's a huge difference.

DVDs.

Of all the things I like about the PS3 (plenty of dislikes too), Blu-Ray disks might just be my favorite. They are especially good on used games, as I've yet to get a blemished disk.

Installing games to the HD is awesome though!

Re: Borderlands

Yeah, but the PS3 controller sucks so bad for first-person-shooters (and the 360 controller is so good for them) that I'd re-buy the game 5 times for the 360 rather than buy it once for the PS3.

yep...a few more levels to go with the Hunter and then it's ....BINGO But need to work on both the Siren and Soldier as well so they can experience "their weapons".

Re: Borderlands

Got a small favor and posible "trade"...

I'm looking for any "Elemental Artifacts" for a Soldier and the higher level ones for the Siren. If anyone has a Hunter I've got all four of the "elemental artifacts" at Level 44 I cannot use and possibly a few mods as well.

Re: Borderlands

Took me less I think. Well, I guess I'm at about 35 hours right now and a good ways into Run 2. I spent a lot of time online dinking around too.
