Just finished it at 4 1/2 hours, with only 45% items found.
Don't know what else to say other then that this game has now set the bar for XBLA. I've played $60 retail games that weren't as good as this.

I really do hope they bring this to psn, but I won't hold my breath that Microsoft will let that happen. Guess I'm just going to have to buy a 360

Game of the year so far. I know there has not been that many great games so far this year, and I fully feel that Batman will probably top this, but I am 10 hours in, trying to get the last 3 or 4 items and I am loving it. Better then Wolverine and Godfather 2, which really were sort of the best games of the year for me at least. I LOVE THIS GAME, and 15 bucks is stupid cheap. I would have paid full price for this game.

I'm a fool I followed that damn blue line in the wrong direction. Took me an hour to figure it out

Finished it. 100% items. Took 11.5 hours. The last few frustrating items became easy once I got the hook and unlimited foam. Now I am going to try my hand at the challenge rooms, and when those get frustrating, I will go for the speed run.
I said it before, but I am saying it again. Game of the Year. Even when Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2, and Batman come out...I bet this game is still thrown in the mix.
Anyone else disappointed that the second gamer pic that unlocks when you get all of your armor looks almost the same as the first pic?
As someone said above, they just set the bar for XBLA games WAY to high with this one. It should have been at least 20 bucks if not more.

I don't think it's a coincidence that TMNT Reshelled and Madballs : Babo Invasion got a sudden price drop from 1200 to 800 after Shadow Complex got priced.

Challenge rooms done.... Those were fun, if not as hard as I was thinking they would be. I did not get gold in every room though, so I would imagine that would be hard. I found the challenge maps in Bionic Commando to be MUCH harder, but I think CHAIR probably has a few DLC's coming out that will make me eat my words.
That last room on Challenge pack 3 was a blast though.

Those are them. I ended up getting them. I did something different on the 2nd one, but I'm sure that'll help someone else.

I'm making my way through the game. I didn't even know I realize I could press X (I think that's it) for a minor speed boost. I didn't even need it until that one part where you just have to do it in order to get past that box on the conveyor belt.
I was really into the game, loving every part of it, but then I discovered the
and that just took the game to an entirely different level.

Yeah, I did last night. Must have patched something.
You know why this game is genius? There was a part last night, shortly after getting the jump boost where you have to go very high up to progress. It took me ages, but I figured out a pattern to jump up and made it out of there (with a sore right thumb). I died before getting to the next save room, but this time I made it up much quicker. Died again and only then did I discover that I was supposed to shoot pipes and flood the room!
It's nice that even the toughest challenges can be tackled in numerous ways.

Yay! I beat the game for the first (of many, I'm sure) time. I think my next run through will be on the hardest difficulty, followed by a 13% run through.

Played a little bit earlier today. So far i really like the exploring aspect much more than Metroid. I always got lost in Metroid since everything looked similar. This is a bit easier to navigate and if i get frustrated I can always turn on the blue pointer.

Well, you apparently don't have to.
I remember that spot. The camera moved from foreground to where you are to the background, and when it was in the background that's when I would run (without pressing dash).
I remember it said to dash, but I just thought it meant to run over there, so that's what I did and I made it. I thought it was odd, but it worked so I just went with it. Knowing this now makes me really wish I had it as I made my way through almost half of the game without it, if not further. I'm not quite sure how far into the game I am now.

Re: The Official Shadow Complex Thread of "Until Metroid Dread is Released"
I talked to someone I know who is a huge Castlevania SOTN (and the like) fan and he proceeded to tell me there is nothing original about this game and it doesn't move the genre forward in any way, shape, or form. WTF?! I hate everybody I know.

Re: The Official Shadow Complex Thread of "Until Metroid Dread is Released"
Does the mere fact that it brings the gameplay style back to prominence in a way that doesn't start with "the new GBA Metroid game" not move the genre forward in some way?

. i am really enjoying the game thus far.
