There will be more. If you noticed, nothing he listed goes beyond the 20th and the next XBLA release would be the 21st and has already been announced to be Afterburner Climax by Sega. Sure, they may be wrong, but it seems more likely than a non-release.

Yeah, it is weird. Knoxx would have made more sense to complete the DLC packaging and really spur sales of both.

Yeah, I already ordered the disc, otherwise I would have probably just grabbed this. I'd have purchased Knoxx in a heartbeat if that was the deal. Though I'll probably just get it anyway now, so I guess everything about my behavior contradicts my point. ;)

Let me tell you a little horror story.

So I have my profile and Bejeweled save on my MU. I move it back and forth from my living room Pro system and my bedroom Arcade unit (20gb hdd and internal MU). I haven't played since the USB update before tonight.

So, I pick Endless from the menu and the "Select Storage Device" screen comes up. I instinctively hit down twice then push A. Game starts on level 1. I'm dumbfounded since I was on level 97 last I played. I push the guide button and quit to dashboard, not giving it a chance to save or anything.

I go to the system/memory screen to confirm my save is on my MU and I notice that my storage devices are now HDD, MU, Internal MU. Thinking that explains it and confirming the save file is there, I go back into the game and pick Endless from the menu again. "Select Storage Device" screen comes up and, sure enough, Microsoft has re-ordered how the storage options are listed with Internal MU at the bottom instead of my portable MU.

I about had a heart attack! And I'm only about 12% done  I desperately need to get that shit backed up to my PC more than ever now!

I gave up on that achievement for BJ2 for that very reason. I was about level 50, and it cancelled out my save. Yeah, I was wayyyyyy off....but I wasn't about to mess with it. I'm actually thankful though, outside of a brief stint where I played it like mad on Facebook, I haven't felt "addicted" to it in a long time. Now if I could just cure the Peggleness, I'd be good as far as addictive puzzlers go.

Oof! I would definitely be sweating. I'm right around where you are.

Still only have 3 achievements in BJ2 - Puzzle Mode, Cognito Mode, and Cascade 8. I just can't handle Classic or Action - I've tried several times.

I really wish they updated the XBLA version of this like they have with the iPhone version, to make it more like the Facebook version. It's such a better, smoother game that way. I play on my iPhone more than I do on the Xbox now, cause it's just that much better.

According to x360a.org (no referenced source), Serious Sam: The Second Encounter HD is coming later this year.

Corvin, when we doing the first? I read it has to be in one 4-5 hour sitting :|

It's coming out on Steam in like 2-3 weeks. They're charging $20 for it which seems a little insane unless it has a lot more content than the first game.

Wow, that's crazy! No way it'll be that much on XBLA. I got SS:TFE for free from Major Nelson, but there's no way I would have paid $15 for it. If it was on sale for $7-$10, maybe.

That said, I did have a blast with it and had never played it before.

I'd be down tonight. What cheesement are we trying to get anyway? I didn't think there was one that required it in one sitting.

I thought we were doing the Serious Co-Op: Complete a co-op game on serious difficulty and extra enemy strength on 400%. ;)

That's not for the faint of heart.

Man, we can give it a go, but that sounds... serious. ;)

Actually if we know trigger points I believe you can avoid a lot of, or at least some, battles.

About half-way down is a Serious difficulty speed run. Total time is just under an hour. Even if we go twice as slow, two hours isn't that bad and faster than Endure. Or we can just just plow through the game legit*

*Save for the infinite ammo I plan to use ;)

Is infinite ammo available at the outset? It won't prevent from getting the achievement?

Yes it is and no it won't. I did it on my single-player run last weekend. In fact, it's probably a necessity ;)

I bought Defense Grid during the recent sale. I'm new to the tower defense genre, but I've been enjoying it quite a bit. How does it rank amongst other games like it? What's "THE" tower defense game to play?

Re: XBLA Thread Part 400 - Pinata's got a brown nose

From what I've gathered, Defense Grid is one of "THE" best. It gets pretty nuts.

I've played what seems like all of them on various consoles, PCs, and the iPhone; and The Creeps on the iPhone is my favorite. In general, I think the touch display and portability lends itself to the genre very well. Great for a quick mission or two whenever I have a few minutes to kill.

Let's not forget about this ;)

I started it on single player and holy shit is it hard, especially in the beginning. I've done the first two levels, but there's a lot of saving and reloading to perfect the individual sections.

Co-op, as I understand it, should be easier since we have infinite respawning and no "game over". Time is the only real requirement.

On PC, my favorite is Gemcraft. It's free so that's nice. It seems like Desktop Tower Defense is perhaps the most popular as well.

I really prefer the mouse/keyboard combination for this type of game.

Are there any set release dates for Limbo, Super Meat Boy, and Comic Jumper?

Also is the the arcade sale over?

Yeah, i was going to buy DG last night, but it was back up to 800. Age of Booty was still showing 400 at that point.

Also, has there been any news on that rotating dungeon game?

I'll second the already mentioned Defense Grid, The Creeps, Gemcraft, Desktop Tower Defense. I also want to add my favorite, Plants vs. Zombies.
