Super Hard is clearly not worth it if all one wants is the 5 achievement points, but I thought it was a ton of fun and would have done it even without the achievement. I probably won't go for no damage on all levels to compete with a certain DVDTalker, but I think I could do most levels pretty easily, with the exception of the Albatross.

The only truly insane hardcore thing on Super Hard was the final boss. :brickwl2:

My score, by the way, was done on Hard, not Super Hard (and did not include a flawless final level).

I heard good things about this game. How is the replay value on this game?

As a fan of beat em up style games, I think it's great. Many characters with different abilities to run through the game with, and there are quite a few levels for your character to achieve which would take multiple run thrus. Lots of weapons and secrets to try and obtain as well.

It's pretty good for multiplayer, even though I think a game like this is meant to be played through in one session with a group and the game is about three or four hours long (if I recall correctly).

Will this expansion cost the same as the base game? I expect an appropriate 800, but would be thrilled if it somehow came in at 400.

I want Peggle Nights... for the iPhone. I just can't go back to the XBLA version anymore.

Really? I got the iPhone one when it was 99 cents too. I don't see what the big appeal for it over the other versions is. Sure, it's convenient and easy to play, but it's hardly the definitive version, IMHO.

I prefer a mouse, but don't really want to buy it again on the PC for that.

Holy Le Tour de France 2009 :The Official Game! We have another stealth, last-minute XBLA assualt. I haven't heard anything about this game, but if I were trying to market a 1200 point game, I wouldn't request that it come out the week after Shadow Complex. I'll check out the demo when I get home to see it at least. No need to check out the Watchmen demo, since I already tried the part 1 demo, I guess.

edit: Team Xbox Review is up. Score 7.4

Trailer:<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CSQoWnf3ym8&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CSQoWnf3ym8&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

Doesn't sound too bad, but nothing I think I need right now. It might be fun to play with my new Tournament Arcade Stick, though. Oh, and it IS a historic XBLA release in one aspect : It's the first XBLA game in

Honestly I think that Pandora's Box has been opened forevermore thanks to Shadow Complex. From here on out, it doesn't matter when it comes out, a $15 (or more) game is always going to be compared to Shadow Complex. (Really looking forward to having this discussion on our next show actually. It's not often you get to say that a game is completely underpriced. )

I think this is the first game specifically made to work on those newfangled 3D displays.

Don't you do that. You call it a great value.

Reminds me of the time my wife filled out a comment card at a Mexican restaurant and simultaneously said there was "more than enough food" and she "would have paid more".

It's like if someone asks you if you are a god, you say yes. Leave well enough alone.

Well, it's not likely to become a trend, but Shadow Complex is probably the second underpriced XBLA game in just over a month though:

Exactly. And the trend is not what worries me. It's the fact that those games will be looked at by an already price fueled contempt filled public and become the benchmark titles of what to expect for your $15.

Oh. So it's 3-D like "I used to have to wear special glasses" 3-D and not 3-D like "I can move my character along three axes." Interesting.

Yeah. Here's what the review says:

I did have more fun with the 3-D mode than I expected. Invincible Tiger comes equipped with various -3-D modes that account for use of state-of-the-art liquid-crystal shutter glasses and 3-D-compatible monitors down to the old-school red/blue tinted glasses that have been used for years. You can also set it for different shades of glasses aside from the red/blue lenses. The quality of the 3-D graphics isn’t bad and it comes through cleanly. The mode is still somewhat of a novelty, but it’s still entertaining to check it out.

Can you elaborate further as your post is confusing. I personally do not see a problem if these games would become the benchmark of what to expect from a $15 game? or did I misunderstand your post superfro?

Because if this is what we would begin to expect of a $15 game then the other games coming out would not sell at that pricepoint unless they were of the same caliber and would in theory be priced for less than. I would at least hope so, and if not the same caliber but priced the same not sell well and then eventually be marked down sooner.

Just a general question about XBLA games--I heard there was one released that is a Diablo clone/dungeon crawl type game. Which one is it?
