Paul's not an idiot. He knows that Wings is nothing but a footnote on the legacy of the Beatles (as are pretty much all the solos Beatles projects outside of "Maybe I'm Amazed," "Imagine," and a few tracks off Double Fantasy). So he can make some quick cash by licensing Wings songs to Neversoft, while raking in the big bucks with Harmonix and Rock Band.

To think Paul needs some 'quick cash' is funny.

Wings had 12 top-10 singles (including one #1) in the United Kingdom and 14 top-10 singles (including six #1's) in the United States. All 23 singles credited to Wings reached the US Top 40 (and one single, Junior's Farm/Sally G, reached it with each side). Of the nine albums credited to Wings during the group's life, all went top 10 in either the UK or the US, with five consecutive albums topping the US charts.

is that what that was? I assumed it was 80s VH to player-created characters.
I mean, wouldn't Wolfgang be a sperm in the 80s?

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread
The whole project seems really weird. Between the Wolfgang thing, the odd choices for the non-VH bands, and the fact that they are giving away the game for free to anyone who buys GH5 in September, I don't know what to make of it.

Dumping it out a few days before Christmas isn't a good sign either.

Destructoid has a few Band Hero details: http://www.destructoid.com/we-think-...s-144925.phtml
So I guess this karaoke mode is just that, 4 players (probably singing the same part?) with no instruments.
Here's what I can say: In Band Hero, you can do everything you can in Guitar Hero 5. We've written extensively about that -- its drop-in/drop-out gameplay, it's music studio, etc. -- so if you're looking for the finer details, check that out. I can also confirm that Band Hero will have one feature Guitar Hero 5 does not, a vocal karaoke mode where four singers can pick up four mics and just sing along to their favorite hits.
And that's what Band Hero is all about -- the hits. The soundtrack consists of over 60 songs, most (if not all) of them have cracked the Top 40 charts at one point or another. While a handful of songs have already been revealed, we saw a few tracks that have yet to be announced:
* Cheap Trick - "I Want You To Want Me"
* Janet Jackson - "Black Cat"
* Roy Orbison - "Pretty Woman"
* Tonic - "If You Could Only See"
(nobody tell jdpatri! He'll have another 90's band to hate on.)

Does anyone ever have more than one person around who wants to sing?

4-way karaoke/vocals makes a lot more sense for a party (particularly tracks like Band Hero has) than a 4-way drumfest.

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread
I'm just questioning the article itself. They know you can play 4 vocalists so why are they saying that its only in BH you can do this?
Unless they are talking about a dedicated karaoke mode where its No Fail and no score.

Re: Guitar Hero: The One and Only Thread
The ability to jump in at any time and play the instrument you want is a great feature I think. I hate having to wait for someone to finish so I can play or being stuck on bass/guitar.

From Shack News:

While I love the Rolling Stones, I personally prefer studio recordings over live tracks. Additionally, I really want "You Can't Always Get What You Want" to be released at some point.
Coming September 3, The Rolling Stones Live Track Pack will bundle all five songs for $9 (720 MS Points), with each tune also available individually at $2 (160 MS Points):
"Prodigal Son (Live 1969)"
"You Gotta Move (Live 1969)"
"Under My Thumb (Live 1969)"
"I'm Free (Live 1969)"
"(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (Live 1969)"

Of course. Rock Band has the Beatles so GH has to have the Stones.
