That would be my assumption, just like the DLC from RB1 getting put on the improved images in RB2.

right. its not like each song contains the complete animations. just triggers to which animations to load...

Lego Rock Band is decidedly more immersive with its environment than RB or RB2. I'm not saying DLC won't be compatible necessary, I'm just saying it's more involved than slapping on another skin.

It's just a matter of LEGO songs having the ability to have more immersive animations. That doesn't mean the older songs won't be compatible based on that, they simply wouldn't "use" the theme but rather "display" it.

Yeah, this is good news. Hopefully, we'll get some Roots in the future. Might as well get one of the best drummers around today into the game.

I want to throw this out for discussion.

Does anyone have any thoughts on when/if we might see AC/DC in the world of DLC? Does Walmart have some sort of exclusive window on that content (more than a year's time?) I'm just wondering because I think I'd rather have the studio tracks vs. the live tracks on the Walmart release...

I'm close to breaking down and buying some of the DLC I want to play instead of waiting for it to (hopefully) arrive on the Pepso promo, and next week's DLC is just about sealing the deal.

won't happen. AC/DC doesn't like the sale of individual songs, nor are they fans of greatest hits packages. They also are not fans of digital downloads.

I can't find it right now, but I saw that the track pack will no longer be WM exclusive as of some time in August. Given the reasons tcoursen pointed out, that's probably the best that they'll do with AC/DC.

Interesting. I wonder if WM is going to have a clearance on their stock now that there's no reason to waste shelf space with them all.

they were on clearance last winter. I bought the game/dvd/tshirt package for $30 in december.

Went 9/17 today. Bought 27 codes for 9 bucks on ebay. I was actually 5/5 to start. I failed a lot in row then. I tried later and went 2/2. I will try the other 10 tomorrow.
