Since I'm too lazy to sort the scores, everyone who entered my Charlene contest gets 10 caps. Thanks for playing!

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Heh no wonder shag left. I couldn't even get more than 2 people to play a 1 minute song and take a picture of it.

I'm reminded of Fallout where caps are currency.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Additionally, Rigopulos revealed that tracks from Queen, Nirvana, Tom Petty, Elton John, Iggy Pop, The White Stripes, Pantera, Talking Heads, Korn, The Raconteurs and more will be among the artists coming to the various offerings across the Rock Band™ platform. With over 800 songs available to date via the Rock Band catalog and 1000 by end of 2009, the billion dollar selling and genre-defining Rock Band franchise continues to be the gold standard in music video games by completely dominating its closest competition with its massive music library, weekly downloadable content and artist offerings, innovation, and superior gameplay (Rock Band 2 average metacritic score: 92). With its leadership stance on music game peripheral compatibility, disc and DLC export, the recently announced Rock Band Network and the upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band, music fans will need to look no further than the Rock Band platform to satisfy all their music video game appetites. |

I'm looking forward to Queen and possibly completing Nirvana. |
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
My top 4 wish list artists are still 0-fer, although there is some hope for Weird Al. Def Leppard, Eddie Money, and Hall & Oates.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Full album download of In Utero (excludes "Heart Shaped Box", "Rape Me" and "All Apologies")

Sounds like a mixture of RB2, Lego, Unplugged, and more. All good news, though.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Free copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen, of course.

Lego: RB DS News
http://www.computerandvideogames.com....php?id=221685 Looks like it plays pretty much like RB:U, except with the stylus. The tracklist will include such classics as Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs, Monster by The Automatic and Ray Parker Jr's classic theme from Ghostbusters. It also means you won't be using any special input devices, except for the DS' own stylus and buttons. Apparently, using the stylus on expert is an incredibly hardcore challenge. We'll see about that |
Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
God Damn, I can't wait for the Ghostbusters Theme to hit RB proper.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I'm not going to lie, when I saw the first line of the post above this one, I got excited thinking they had finally updated the track list...and then I read the rest of it :( Seriously, with only a few weeks left, you'd think the final track update would have to happen soon, if it actually will happen at all (I know HMX said there would be more songs added...but where the fuck are they!?)
