I'm sure had Shag known he was going up against Encyclopedia Brown he never would've attempted it!

If it was funny in the first place, maybe he would have brought it over here when it was relevant ;)

That was the first I'd seen of it and didn't even catch the date. Good job! Guess it probably originated from SA last newsletter.

Just got back from US Cellular Field where a friend and I raided the lower level after the game. It's interesting that most people put the cap back on their empty bottles and leave them in the cup holders waiting for our harvesting. I had flashbacks of my ancestors working in the rice paddies.

132 caps after 15 minutes of work.

The August issue of Maxim has a coupon for a free Axe product. Target has 300point cards on the Axe item. Might be a good way to stock up on some points.

I'm winning at about a 30% clip. I played 10 this morning, won 3 and played 20 last night, won 7.

I know - what is up with that? The sellers who previously sold XBLA codes also have nothing up for sale. Kind of bums me out.

The Target sale about 2 weeks ago was a good deal.. I stocked up on $100 worth of points for $80 and a $5GC :)

DLC for the week of 8/11:

Hey gang,

Here's the DLC that will be available next week! A little old, a little new, a few live tracks and a few tracks from a band that exists only as a cartoon! Enjoy!

Tracks available on Xbox 360 (Aug. 11) and Playstation 3 (Aug. 13):

Gorillaz “Clint Eastwood”
Gorillaz “Feel Good Inc.”
Gorillaz “Re-Hash”
Janis Joplin “Piece of My Heart”
The Band “Chest Fever (LIVE)”
Jefferson Airplane “White Rabbit”
The Who “Magic Bus (Live at Leeds)”

(All tracks are original master recordings)

These tracks will be available for purchase as part of the “Gorillaz Pack 01” or as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 systems.

Price:
$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track
$5.49, £2.49 UK, €3.99 EU (440 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for “Gorillaz Pack 01”
Wicked! Rare week where I might be in for everything.

Best week I remember in a long time.

The Jefferson Airplane gives me hope that we may one day see Jefferson Starship "We Built this City"

It pleases me every week to see solid support for a game that is, essentially, two years old! Harmonix gets it.

It's also great that GH5 content seems to be hitting the Rock Band world in either DLC or Lego Rock Band. Personally, I look forward to the announcement of Lego to RB2 music transfer in the near future. Not because I know something, but because it makes the most sense. And Harmonix has consistently made the sensible decisions over the lifespan of the RB series.
