I'm not sure, but I think Bioware did make a video thing that covers the events of ME1 for people who are just now picking up ME2 for their PS3s.

Just finished this game up(39 hours) and I'm soooo glad it came out for PS3. It was great!
So here is my beef:
I spent the entire game avoiding all the ladies advances so I could get me some Kelly. Halfway through the last mission I see her liquify in the tank! Dammit!!!
Luckily I have a save from right before the IFF mission with everyone's loyalty missions complete so I will replay the last few hours of the game to save Kelly. I wouldn't normally do this for a game but if certain things are going to carry over the ME3, then I want the best possible ending.
So here is my beef:

My plan was to play it at least a couple of times. Once as a male heoic type and the other as a female douchebag. I didn't even think of the repercussions in ME3 pertaining to romances. may have to revisit the game later on.

If you care about the trophy for romancing one of your crew, Kelly doesn't count.

The PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 has been patched, and in the process, has revealed details on an upcoming DLC pack called "Arrival." Featuring three new Trophies, the BioWare forums have been abuzz with theories on what the expansion will entail.
One of the Trophies, "Covert Action," refers to a Dr. Amanda Kenson, who was previously mentioned in a recent Cerberus Network update:
Some believe that "Arrival" can refer to the arrival of the Reapers, setting up events for the upcoming Mass Effect 3. Others, however, are more fixated on figuring out how to acquire one of the more ominous Trophies for the DLC: "The Ultimate Sacrifice." Wasn't dying once sacrifice enough?

Finished this the other day and.....WOW!
I thought RDR was a great single player game but ME2 was even better. I can see why 360 fans have been saying they had the best 3rd party exclusives. I am soooo glad that we are all caught up with the 360 and will be getting ME3 on day one.

That's great to hear. I'm in the middle of finishing RDR and I'm definitely a little underwhelmed having played Mass Effect 2 already.

About 30hrs in to the game and am completely hooked. It is rare something hyped up so much lives to my expectations.
