I thought I saw ME2 at BB tonight for PS3. I asked the blue shirt about the price difference and he had no clue what was going on. The game was $60 for PS3 but is now only $20 for 360.

Played ME2 last night started around 8:30pm (After a good 20 minute install)and got so sucked into it that I was up until 2:30 am.

I started last night too. between the install, the downlad, the ME1 recap, and customizing my face, I barely got 15 minutes of gameplay in.

Am I missing something? Isn't that what it's supposed to be?

Bioshock was also more expensive for the PS3 when it was released than the 360 version that had been out for awhile. ME2 does come with some extra content so you're getting some added value. Throw it in with the Buy 2 Get 1 Free from Best Buy and don't worry about the cost.

ME2 for PS3 has all of the DLC Missions included (Overlord, Shadow Broker, Kasumi's Stolen Memories) and runs on the ME3 engine.

Also Bioware is offering PS3 owners a lot of free armor/weapon DLC until Feburary I think.

Free for a charge. There is a 7.99 bundle for all four packs.

In answer to my own question, it does not appear that previous unlocks carry over to the PS3 version even if they are already unlocked for Xbox/PC.

I don't see how bypassing the PSN or Xbox Marketplace would work. They'd want to get their chunk of the DLC too.

This is awesome! It's a way for PS3 people to learn the events and make the major decisions of ME1 for import into ME2!

Personally, I feel bad for the PS3 gamers who are going to miss out on the story from the first ME and not have a clue about the decisions being made, who the characters are, etc.

If only Bioware had seen fit to include some sort of prequel to at least cover the major story decisions. An interactive video (or maybe even a motion comic) would've worked.
