Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
This is so awesome.
It's like we're all whipping our BALLS out on the table to compare! I don't have any of my computers wired to the router like the PS3 so I can't really whip mine out quite as readily. Good times in the PS3 forum! |
Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
 The same thing happened when Netflix came out on the 360.

So I should be able to watch the HD versions, right? Woops - here's a test from a computer connected via the wireless network, which the PS3 is on... http://www.speedtest.net/result/616521153.png |

From Netflix: http://www.netflix.com/WiMessage?msg=59
Certain titles are available to watch in HD on your Netflix ready device. In order to watch in HD you need: •A HD TV and component or HDMI connection from your Netflix ready device to your TV •A high-speed internet connection at time of playback (typically 5 Mbps or higher) |

Yeah... I get better speeds than that when I run a test to Australia or New Zealand...
Also, my results are from my wireless lap top, which is a little further away from my router, then the PS3 and 360. |

But I'll tell you know, it's going to uber-deity-like. Like Zeussian. Only with bigger BALLS.
Warhawk invades the PS3 forum! FTW! Like six people get it. That's all that matters. |

Better than I thought...wish my upload speed were faster. I'm only 7 down with .5 up. |

Should I care that my upload sucks? I really don't upload anything... |

Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
I gotta see how much uploading and downloading speed my BALLS can handle when I get home.

This is a T1 line at work, but I guess everything being filtered through corporate slows it down. |
Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
my iphone almost gets a better connection than some of your PS3's

In theory. I'd like to see what your true up/down speeds are.

Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
Don't venture in here very often since I generally only use my PS3 for Blu-rays, so sorry if this has been asked a million times...but my PS3 isn't reading discs. :(
Sounds like a somewhat common problem, but Google doesn't help me much in finding a solution (other than calling Sony to have it repaired). It's a couple years old, 40gb, out of warranty of course. Help? Thanks. :) |
