I would think that if Netflix were good at anything, it would be mailing disks.

And email surveys. "How was the quality of ___?" Enough already.

I don't like it when, about 3 days later, they ask you when you mailed a disc. Sometimes I have to just guess.

Or you could do what I do : Ignore every one of their emails.

Same here. I'll be interested in seeing how well it works compared to the 360.

If you are already using it on the 360, is there any good reason to use it instead on the PS3, if you have both?

Probably not, once we all test it we'll know for sure. I guess if you're paying for Gold membership on Xbox Live for the exclusive purpose of Netflix, it would be better to switch to PS3.

I'm actually really happy with the 360 functionality, especially after the recent patch.

Is there any reason not to at least try it? I can't wait to hear everyone's impressions.

I completely agree. I have a Roku on another TV and it doesn't do half the stuff that the 360/Netflix combo does.

Yeah, I'm more curious than anything. I wouldn't mind having the option though to have the PS3 hooked up in the bedroom for Netflix streaming from time to time. Since it is wireless it would be easier than moving the 360 there and running a cable.

I'm curious to see if the PS3 interface for netflix is like the 360 interface or just like stand alone BD players or a Roku device. The 360 interface is pretty hard to beat.

This means I'll soon be able to stream Netflix via 360, PS3 and Tivo. Why do I keep cable anymore?

Why does anybody keep cable anymore?

I only have it because my GF pays for it.

Even though Netflix has HD video I don't think they have multi channel audio.

Same as my Samsung BD-3600. It's ok but once you've used the 360 version it's hard to go back. Does the disk have to stay in once it's installed or did we cover that already?

Seems pretty clear from that video that they're running it from the disc and it's not installed.
