Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Hope you cocksmokers start showing up again soon.

Meanwhile, small map suggestions:

Eucadia - Northern Bridge (TDM/Flag)
Eucadia - Urban Strike (TDM)
Vaporfield - Village (DM)
Vaporfield - Grinder (DM/TDM/Flag)
Badlands - South City (DM)
Archipelago - Close Corridors (TDM/DM/Flag)
Island Outpost - Bridge Out (TDM)
Destroyed Capital - King of the Hill (TDM/CTF)
Omega Factory - Forget the name, but it's only DM. We used to play it every now and then.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

No, I know Thunder Dome.

This one has tall buildings and lots of ladders. I'm thinking it might be called Hot Zone. It's actually pretty fun with a 4-6 person group. Lots of douche opportunities and lots of running around in fear.

Okay. Hot Zone is fun.

We shall never speak of that other one ever again.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Yeah, I knew you liked that one.

Tau Crater - On the Deck is pretty fun if you like jetpacks at all.
Badlands - South City is a great DM
Badlands - Fortress is an interesting DM or TDM

Lots of fun small maps for a small group.

I think last week may have been gleefully jetpack free.

Okay so.... minor emergency. I won't be around to start the game up tonight. Someone else is going to have to run the show. I might be back home by 9:00pm EST. Either Nic starts it up or we delay the lobby until then.

I actually can't make it until 8:30 anyway. I can start a server then though.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Well that's pretty much the lot of regulars. Should we just plan on an abbreviated evening? Shorten the maps to 15 mins... start at 9pm?

I'll try to make it tonight, but can't make any promises. I've got a few projects to finish by tomorrow.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

My buddy showed up just as we moved on to a DLC map so I bailed and played with him for a while. It was his first night and he did pretty well. We set ourselves up with a wrench apiece, him a rocket launcher, and me a tank. Then we went Warhawk hunting. He and I may be in to play next Tuesday, though we'd need to stick to non-DLC maps. I'll see if he's available and let whoever is running maps know.

Yeah, low turn out, but it was fun to laugh with you, nic44, and I know it's going to pick up in the fall once chess returns with all his work buddies.

I'll send out some notes and see if I can get some of my work friends to show up.

The thumb wrestler is having more fun than me, I think.

Need a favor. I'm going to ask Traci download my free copy of Super Stardust HD.

Can one of you guys give me a step by step of how to get the free games on PSN so I can tell her? Just go to the store and it's on the front page?

The Playstation store is not up yet. Once it is, I'll gladly create a walkthrough/guide for the process.

Muchos gracias!

Just too bad I own all of the other games...wish PJ Monsters or Shooter 2 had been in there...or even Warhawk...would love to have that on my hard drive.

I should have made you stop playing BFBC2 yesterday afternoon so you could do your projects and show up for Warhawk! I'm such an enabler! You said "projects" but if you'd said "school projects," the former college English teacher in me would have reached through your screen and pulled the DualShock3 right out of your hands!

Hope the semester ends on a manageable note, bro.
