Darn! I just paid double that last week!

i think you can still get a refund for the price difference since it has been less than 30 days.

I thought they had a rule where clearance merchandise was "locked in" at the new lower price if it drops during your purchase period, even if it drops minutes after you buy it. But I am definitely going to try to return it.

You do not get a price adjustment for clearance prices. Partially because prices vary from store to store because the price is based on sales/on hand quantities.

Easiest is to rebuy it at the lower price (if they have it in stock), then return it with the older receipt. I think you may even have 90 days to return unopened items.

Right... they will refuse to pricematch clearance items. So if you find out that it's clearanced at your store, you cannot do a pricematch, you have to return it and rebuy it once they reshelve it (if there are none left)

The flaw in that it usually will not be reshelved until later that night. The buying an extra copy is how it needs to work if you really want to. Honestly I never do that it is a risk reward situation with clearance and I know that if I buy it now it will probably go down in less than a week but it might not be there when it goes down.

bought locoroco 2 (PSP) for 13.95. I swear that game just came out. Retail is only 19.99 on that, but it was the only one, so I bit.

They also had a ton of Need for Speed:Undercover, but still at around 35.

I bit on Locoroco2 as well. It came out in February. I liked the first one a fair bit, so that's worth it for me.

Just got Scene it for 19.84 almost glad I couldn't find it at Best buy a awhile back.

Yeah, I got Lips 2 months ago for $20. I picked it up for the microphones and their eventual use on RB2... but the game is fun as hell with a group.

Unfortunately none of the stores around here had it that cheap. I love catching the stuff when it is 75% off or more, but no such luck on this one. The ebay people usually beat me to the games when they get that cheap.

Nabbed Peggle for the DS for $14.

But it's showing that clearance price at all Targets. Doesn't make sense that you just got it and it cost that much.

Clearance prices are not global at Target they are based on hand quantities and sales prior to when it went on clearance, and of course sales at the current clearance price. I have seen items be weeks (areas are only marked down once a week the day depends on the department it's in) apart in pricing before.

Saw Lips at Target but it was priced at $24.98. Hope there's a further price drop as some of you got it for half the price. Q: Are the Lips microphones compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour? I know GTWT Microphones are wired whereas Lips are wireless. If it is compatible, its easier to make decision on buying this game. Thanks.

I have read that there was an update with both RB2 & GHWT that made them compatible but I haven't tried it yet. Give me a few hours and I will try them both and post back.

RB2 has no update for the Lips microphones yet. I seem to recall GH:WT has been updated to support them, but don't quote me on that.

GH:M does support them (and likely every title going forward), however at last check there were "no plans" to support them in GH:WT.

Just tried both RB2 & GHWT with the Lips mics and it works with neither. That really sucks as the Lips mics are some of the nicest I have seen.

I thought Target clearance prices were nationwide? Why is Lips still $24.98 at mine?
