You can take it too a used media place a lot of them offer a service for a small fee , and honestly I have seen some horrible discs that ended up working after this.

I just won a RB song from the pepsi contest. When I went to redeem the code I got a error message. When I went to check my download history, I got a unavailable message. All my content is now listed as unpurchased. Anybody else have a problem with a missing purchase history ?

So you got the 25-digit code from Pepsi to enter into the XBL Marketplace and it's there you're getting the error?

ETA: I can see my "Game" and "Video"download history, but not my "Game Demo" download history. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing and your code will work when it's all fixed up.

Had this happen yesterday. You might want to try the online marketplace and see if that has any more stability?

I got the code from the pepsi site and redeemed it at Xbox.com, then I received a message saying a error had occurred. Now when I go to check my download history, I get a sorry unavailable page at Xbox.com and on my 360 I got a error code. Maybe it's some unscheduled maintenance issues, I hope they fix it soon.

I was just wondering do Microsoft points expire? I had 1270 points which was 870 from ones ive purchased and the 400 they gave away awhile back for gold members and now i am back to 870 even though i havent bought anything in months.I was saving the 1200+ for BF43 and now it looks like im gonna be short.

Promo points expire, but points you actually purchase do not. I'm not sure what the expiration is, or if it explicitly states it in the points promo. I've also heard that when your account has both promo and purchased points, promo points are used first. But I guess there isn't a way to know for sure about this.

I've gotten tons of points via promo and never had anything on there tell me about my points getting ready to expire. It does state that they can though.

Yeah i did go back and find the email that i got about the 400 points and at the bottom it stated that they expire June 30/09.I guess i just failed to see that.Lesson learned.
