Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
As much as I would like this, i would be OK if it doesnt, gives me more of a reason to go back and do it all again... Although some of the Gold stars I got back when i was really in the zone might be tough...

Doesn't it currently show you the top score regardless of which instrument it was on, or, is it instrument specific? If it isn't specific that adds an extra layer of complexity.

Yeah, I got some gold stars that wouldn't be so easy to get again. Here's hoping for retro-active.

While they are doing updates, can they PLEASE remove Visions from the set lists in the tours?

Speaking of Visions, the update I want is the ability to block songs from EVER showing up...even in your normal menus...sort of like they did with Burnout Paradise, where I'll never hear "girlfriend' again.

I am so so so sick of that Von Bondies song (and I dont even watch Rescue Me), but I am probably gonna get it depending on the chart and definitely Journey and Benatar.

Anyone get into the Game With Fame with Matt Cameron tonight? My friend request got approved so I'm assuming I'm in. Never done any of these before. Just know I have to be there 30 minutes prior to start time. Has anyone tried these before?

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
i would have tried , but the start time caters to the east coast, and/or unemployed which I currently am (for another 2 weeks)

Just the overall score. No certain song. You have a good starting point but it appears that Shagrath is the king of vocals on my friends list. That will take awhile to even get close.
Do you get more points for doing the Expert difficulty?

I think the way it works is that the maximum possible score is higher if you play on Expert as opposed to Hard. However, if you're not getting 100% (or close to that), then you might get a higher score on Hard. In other words, getting 100% on Hard might give you a higher score than a 92% on Expert.

I may just try to complete the tour on Expert and then if I need more points, then I will concentrate on doing a lower level. Some of these songs are hard as hell on Expert but not too bad on Hard for some reason.
Thanks.
I mainly just want to beat xmiyux...but that shouldn't be too hard.

That was Awesome!!!! Matt was pretty cool. He sang, I played guitar and one of his kids played drums. Someone else (another random gamer) played bass. I asked how the new album was going and said great and that they were almost done. Man, that was the coolest thing I've done in a long time.
Oh, we played Oceans.
