Haven't gotten home to look yet, but I'm assuming no. There seems to be some odd stuff going on following along over on the PJ site. People not getting theirs sent out yet and being told that there's a reason for the delay and good things come to those who wait blah blah blah. I'm guessing that means the folks getting the signed ones won't get theirs right away, but they'll at least be signed. At least that's my interpretation at the moment.

But hey...at least I got to pay $15 more than getting it at BB and don't get the 3 track code. Go me?

Do we know if the TEN tracks are the original mix or the remixed ones? Looks like Canada isn't getting the best buy free tracks, so hopefully those do show up on the marketplace, because I NEED to get Brother and State OL&T...

Probably what I'll get as well, but I'm on the fence with Evenflow - love the song, but it really wasn't very fun (IMHO) in GH3.

Description: This is the first instrument-specific challenge. Play Metallica - Battery, Megadeth - Peace Sells and Testament - Souls of Black on guitar. Highest total score will be declared the winner.

How Long: 1 Week. Challenge ends 12AM EST on Monday, 3/30/09. Submissions can be made by sending me a PM with screenshots.

Well, y'all have one less lurker to worry about for Challenges 4 and 5. I'm posting this from a hotel room in Korea, where I'll be for the next week, WITHOUT my PS3...after a full 24 hours of travel I'm too tired to know I'm going through withdrawal yet. After that, I'll be a week in Hawaii, where I don't think I'll care about my PS3, Rock Band, or DVDTalk. I'm just sayin'.

Have fun out there! I'll be in San Francisco for most of the week (leave Tuesday morning and get back Saturday morning). I'll probably have withdrawals too, but will try to find some place to play during the week.

The Sony Metreon probably still has their Rock Band room set up, so I could probably jam on a song or two there after the conference each night. And I'm sure it'll be going at the Harmonix party, where I might have the possibility to play some pre-release songs.

Harmonix party? How does one go about getting an invite?

I'll be attending GDC. I can probably schmooze my way in. Are you going to be there?

I live in the area so I could go if I wanted to. Let me know if you want to get a drink or something.

I don't know how much time I'll have outside of the conference anyways. Last year, I remember getting up at like 7am for the conference and getting back to the hotel till 9-10pm. This is probably going to be my last time going for a while, so I'm going to try to hit some parties and do some more networking as well.

If you're already in the downtown area, maybe we could grab a bite to eat or something though.
