Testify, Rude Mood, and Lenny are all instrumentals, BTW.

I will give the youtubes a listen but i am not interested in instrumentals at all and i am not familiar enough that album to recognize the other songs. The fact they were described to me as bluesy has me a little intrigued.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Pride and Joy is probably the most well-known song on there. Texas Flood is another one you might recognize, and Mary Had a Little Lamb is a cover of an old blues song that might sound a little familiar.

Dude, SRV is single handedly responsible for kicking off the mid-'80s blues revival. He's not just bluesy, he IS the blues.Texas Flood is an amazing album... except for "Mary Had a Little Lamb", that song blows.

Texas Flood and one more from No Doubt (that should have been on the Singles collection - uh oh...).

Nothing for me out of that. I respect SRV, but I just can't take his music anymore. Every shitty cover band in this city seems to love playing his songs and I've heard so many of them butchered that I can't even enjoy the originals anymore.
