Bravo.

Don't worry, I'll be getting DJ Hero the moment they give me a date.

And the videos weren't of my Rock Band performance. *whew*

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Testify, Rude Mood, and Lenny are all instrumentals, BTW.

I'm in for:

Love Struck Baby
Pride and Joy
Texas Flood
Mary Had a Little Lamb

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

I will give the youtubes a listen but i am not interested in instrumentals at all and i am not familiar enough that album to recognize the other songs. The fact they were described to me as bluesy has me a little intrigued.

Well it was nominated for a grammy for best blues recording.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Pride and Joy is probably the most well-known song on there. Texas Flood is another one you might recognize, and Mary Had a Little Lamb is a cover of an old blues song that might sound a little familiar.

Dude, SRV is single handedly responsible for kicking off the mid-'80s blues revival. He's not just bluesy, he IS the blues.

Texas Flood is an amazing album... except for "Mary Had a Little Lamb", that song blows.

Great for SRV fans!

Unfortunately for myself, I'm not one - so I'll be skipping this DLC.

Same. I highly respect SRV and kind of like some of the tunes but not enough to have them in RB.

Nothing for me out of that. I respect SRV, but I just can't take his music anymore. Every shitty cover band in this city seems to love playing his songs and I've heard so many of them butchered that I can't even enjoy the originals anymore.
