It is kinda lame that they didn't hold off and put them in a pack, but they are different artists!
Would they just list is as Zombie Pack 01? Then what happens when there's a band called Zombie and they've had their pack 01 taken away from them?

Will check charting on MHTH...and will likely buy it.

I don't. They set the price, and I decide to buy. Ultimately they're within their rights to never offer a pack for less than normal price, and people would still buy as much as they do now. So I look at the times they do as a good gesture, and not really an entitlement.

Love to see more Zombie, but BS, again, is a curious choice for these games. Thunderkiss and Dragula, for example, would be much better (and obvious) choices.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Granted, but they knew it they had 3 "Zombie" songs at the ready. I'm sure they have plenty of potential 3-packs they'll dole out over time as singles. But it's just the fact 2 came out today and a 3rd was out a few weeks ago just sort of strikes me.
As I said, it's just the principle of the thing. They set the precedent with the pack discounts, so it isn't entitlement.
Rock Band 3, perhaps? That's all I ever come up with when I think about "obvious choices" myself.

Measure 1 (repeat 30x), Measure 2 (repeat 4x), Measure 3 (repeat 40x), Measure 4, Measure 5 (repeat 35x), Measure 6.
I distinctly remember it because I thought the bassist was pretty hot, but I realized after seeing that tab, that she was probably in the band for her looks.

I will start using the same reasoning...just don't like the pipeline theory because you never know what the future holds for this platform.
Regardless, as a pretty big Zombie fan, I would go through many, many more tracks before I'd put BS on there.

I'm not really a Rob/White Zombie fan so i most likely won't snag these tracks. I would however grab that song from Jet Set Radio.... is that Dragula?

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I'd like to set up a little DVDTalk competition sometime. I don't know if we have enough members to do a band-vs.-band thing (and have more than 3 or 4 full bands), but we might be able to figure out some kind of solo stuff.
Let me know if you'd be interested (either in the thread or by PM) and if you have any ideas. We could maybe set up a standard bracket-style tourney, or maybe just weekly or bi-weekly DVDTalk specific challenges.

Thunderkiss '65 would've been a WAY better pick than Black Sunshine, but hey, at least I'll be buying some DLC for a change (Black Sunshine & More Human)

More on the Tourney/Challenges
I set up a "fake" gamertag for dlcquickplay.com that I'll allow you guys to go in and edit. Ideally, everyone that edits will just take out what they don't have and this will give us a list of DLC that everyone interested in playing has, and we'll be able to use that for the tourney/challenge stuff.
If you are interested in moving forward with the tourney/challenge stuff, send me a PM and I'll give you the info for dlcquicplay (username/password). I'll also add you to the list of people interested in the concept and can get a good baseline of whether a tourney would work at all (at least full-band).

If it's head to head over Live then yeah, it'd be a bit tough for you to compete. What about something like there's 3 or so songs per week and you try to get the highest score on two of them, any instrument? I'm trying to think of a way that everyone can participate but where one person (act like you know who) won't win everything all the time. Difficulty levels suck because they don't show on the results screen unless it's a gold star, so having E/M/H/X tiers wouldn't work so well. Maybe just one song, two instruments max? Depending on how many people are interested, I'd say the best number is enough to make half of the people lose each week, so winning isn't a gimme.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
I was thinking of using screenshots for the results. So, if we did the band thing, then if there were 4 ps3 people (lol, right!
), or even Wii people, then I'd have no problem with them participating. If we don't have enough people for full bands, then we might go half-bands with certain configurations for each challenge/tier?
If we end up just doing some type of challenge-type thing, then maybe an idea would be like 1-2 songs with the combined score from every instrument being your total? I'm open to any suggestions.

Maybe if you updated post #3 when people PM you their info, it would look like there was more than one PS3 player.
