Word. Why can't they just get their shit right? I read in Game Informer that TFUII is more of the same. The controls are a tad tighter but the plot is flimsy and the Force powers are only upped by one. The first game was a 7.0 at best and at worst (Star Destroyer level) it was a -2. Just skip the platforming games and give us X-Wing and Battlefront III please!

Seriously. How many people does it take to demand X-Wing before this thing happens? I really think this game -- even a graphically enhanced port -- would sell buckets on nostalgia alone. Make it a real game... and who knows what kind of power that thing would have.

I always get my bad space shooter franchise revivals confused. Was that the one that played like you were on a hockey rink in a spaceship, or was that Battlestar Galactica? Or was that both? Either way, I think they're both delisted now. Or they should be.

This! The XvT series was a total blast. Especially for Star Wars nerds like myself.

I don't know the specific developer that did Jedi Starfighter. It was a Lucasarts game, but I don't know if there's a specific division of that or what. Factor 5 (which was not actually part of Lucasarts but partnered with them) made the Rogue Squadron games. Lair was their last game before they ceased operations.

Other than the Lego stuff, I haven't really gotten into Star Wars games that weren't about flying the ships. I would probably kill for a Rogue Squadron collection with all 3 games in HD.

Jedi Knight was pretty good. Had some pretty fun multiplayer fights.
