My local BB was out of the standard edition so because of your post I picked up the steelbook. Over an hour to download the update, then I see all these microtransactions on top of the character pack to get alternate costumes. Plus it takes a special kind of crappy design to make Spider-Man look terrible. At least it's got a lengthy story mode.

From what I've heard it's pretty good. A little slow and maybe a little longer than it needs to be, but overall good. At that price I may give it a go as well. Anything Bioshockish usually gets my attention. I just don't really have the time and patience for long drawn out games anymore, especially if they are slower paced.

it's not really slower paced. same action-like scenarios as BioShock and you slowly open up the world (Space Station) as you go along. there are also some jump moments that are pretty cool. but, it is longish and could sometimes get tedious, but i think very fun overall...
