Borrowed from the other thread. Starting Sunday at Target, B1G1 50% off on all video games (excluding anything Nintendo)

3DS games are not excluded (excepting Detective Picachu)

I love how it specifically says doesn't work on Wii U games. You would think they would be trying to clear out those titles to make space.

It's not a spectacular deal in either case. If it were Buy 2 get 1 free, you would save 33% and get a $60 for $40. As it is, you're saving 25% and getting a $60 game for $45. At that point, it's just pocket change compared to the $48 it would cost at Best Buy any day of the week (and for any game) with GCU.

They've been occasionally having B1G1 on most Wii U titles. They just had one a few weeks ago, that's when I picked up Smash and Color Splash.

I was just thinking about this. Plus, you only have to buy one game to get the 20% off instead of having to buy 2 to get 50% off, just 10% more difference. Now, if you have two titles that you were already going to get, it is a bit better deal. The lack of including Switch titles would just make me take my business elsewhere.

I am surprised that the WiiU titles haven't been completely clearanced out by now. Do they still even sell the console anymore?

Every Target that I go to still has like 20 different Wii U titles and 10 or so different Wii titles. It's weird.

Speaking of Target, it looks like they are getting out of the toys to life game. I saw clearance stickers on every LEGO Dimensions and Nintendo Amiibo they had on shelves.

Yeah, both Animal Crossing Amiibo (actually there might have been a third as well, I wasn't playing close attention). I just know that every single one had a clearance sticker on it.

I will keep an eye out on the LEGO ones though since I picked up the game at Christmas when it was on clearance. So far they were only 50% off, but they had a ton and I'm sure they will hit 70%.

I can guarantee you're not finding either of those at Target. The main leftovers at Target are the Animal Crossing ones (which sold poorly), Waluigi and Daisy. If you get extremely lucky you might find a leftover Breath of the Wild amiibo.

And the "clearance" prices are about what you could have gotten them for at BB with GCU.

All the stores in my area started pulling them off the shelves in December 2016. I was told by a friend who works in the electronics dept. at Wal-Mart that the Nintendo rep told him Nintendo didn't want stores to start marking them down with the Switch release a few months away.

It would look bad if one console is on clearance with a new one on the way. (Take that for what it's worth)

All 4 of the PS4 Playlink titles (you use smartphones or tablets for multiplayer) are on sale at Gamestop for $4.99. Hidden Agenda (similar but smaller in scope to Until Dawn and by the same studio) is the standout which I had already played through previously but I also picked up Knowledge is Power (a trivia game) and Singstar Celebration for some games to play with my wife.

Add $40 To Your PlayStation Store Wallet For Just $30

https://deals.kinja.com/add-40-to-yo...-30-1825157378

1. Download the Swych app for iOS or Android.

2. Click on the PlayStation Store gift card in the gift card directory.

3. Select the $20 card.

4. Use promo code AprilGames to save $5.

5. Check out and receive your digital gift card.

You can actually do this two times per account, so that’s $40 worth of PlayStation credit for $30 that you can spend on games, DLC, and media.
Not too shabby.

According to CAG, Target currently has the PS4 Pro for 320 plus tax via cartwheel. Even cheaper with the red card.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I can confirm that's in the app - 20% off. Every store is "limited stock".

While I'm interested in a PS4Pro, I think I'm better off waiting for E3 to see if anything is done to bundle or reduce the prices further.

The return window is 30 days for electronics so that would expire just before. Decisions...

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I saw that deal on Slickdeals this morning too. I was tempted to go look, but I really only use my PS4 for exclusives and as good as God of War would probably look I also decided to just wait.
