I just played Black, the graphics are dated, but the game looks great for what it is (Max settings on PC?), but the controls and the game both leave a lot to be desired.

Carmageddon TDR (Total Destruction Racing) 2000, basically Carmageddon 3.

Walmart has Crackdown 3 (XB1) available to preorder for $42.98.

, as they tend to do, but I'd encourage you to buy from a retailer that's originating deals instead of parroting them.

Between the two, i'd much rather order from Amazon :)

Yeah, I'm with Stan on this one. Pre-ordered.

Fuck walmart. They blow trump citing gop tax cuts in raising wages and then close stores across the country causing thousands to lose their jobs.

Pre-ordered from Amazon. If they do a $10 certificate at BB for pre-order, I will cancel.

I absolutely get that. I just resent the fact that almost every worthwhile deal I see on Amazon for games or movies are because they're pricematching someone else (with some exceptions, like the 3 UHD BDs for $50 thing they have going). If sales dry up at other stores because everyone winds up buying from Amazon, then I worry that we won't really see sales anymore. I'd feel differently if Amazon had a steady stream of compelling sales and supplemented 'em with pricematches, but that's not so much the case.

I'm not preordering from either. I thought the game looked terrible from the last preview. Between getting delayed constantly and Crackdown 2 being a shit show, I don't have much faith in this one.

I'd be more understanding if it was some other retailer, but Walmart is shitty in their own right too :p

You could always pre-order and cancel if reviews are terrible.

In my experience, Walmart's cancellation system is broken, even preorders done months in advance and cancelled the next day. It says something optimistic like Cancellation Request Received or something, then 3 months later you get a package in the mail. They are easy to return in store though.

Politically, let's go with the richest person in the world who exploits their workers, is that one Walton or Bezos?

A few Xbox One Specials on Amazon worth looking into:

Amazon usually ships early to guarantee release day delivery (sometimes you might even get it a day or two before release). So by the time reviews start hitting, it's probably going to be too late to cancel and I would rather not deal with shipping back to Amazon. But yes, Walmart would be easy enough to return to your local store if you wanted to. It's no biggie though, looks like it's back to the normal price anyways.

Titanfall 2 is less than $10 on Amazon for both systems. I figured at that price, why not check it out. I liked the original.

It was one of my favorite campaigns of 2016. I enjoyed what little of the multiplayer I’ve tried.

Yeah I figure even if I just do campaign and trade it in, will get my money's worth.

Headlander is free through Twitch Prime

Twitch Prime has been killing it lately with the free stuff. Superhot was free last month.

Such a good deal, but the Ultimate Edition looks pretty cool with Black Panther, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Venom and Monster Hunter, in a Steelbook. It's $40 -- not nearly as good a deal comparatively, yet I'm tempted. Have ordered both and will see which I actually pick up...

I always forget about Twitch Prime deals unless they're posted here. Got some nice stuff for Assassin's Creed Origin in December.

You can also check Target stores for the steelbook version. It's the same price as the regular version since they are under the same SKU now. I picked it up a few weeks ago when it was on sale for $29.99.

And I was able to return and rebuy today matching BB. Can't beat $20 for the steelbook deluxe edition.
