Not going to lie... I like wired more. I am not a fan of the whole charging bull shit.

I've no clue as to how this gen of wireless lasts too. Soooooo maybe it is crazy?

How good are this gen's wireless controllers in lasting till they need a charge?

If someone likes wired, seems like you could just buy a play and charge kit and have it plugged in all the time. I'd prefer that then a 3rd party controller outside of maybe some of the high end ones like from Razer.

As for wireless, the DualShock 4 sucks and I have to charge it often. The XBox One feels like it might last a little bit less then the 360? Just guessing on that though.

I would just wait for the wireless ones to go on sale for $40.

Best Buy's DOOM landing page sez:

It's not listed on the promo page, but apparently the $10 thing is still chugging along.

Monoprice currently has some for $20 off when using Masterpass Checkout. There is a thread over at SlickDeals discussing it.

Until Dawn is $19.99 at Best Buy this week. They also have Gears of War Ultimate Edition for $9.99.

It also looks like Target is doing a B1G1 half off on all PS4 & XB1 games this week.

This actually worked out pretty good for me today. I picked up some Disney Infinity 3.0 bundle for $115 and got The Division Gold Edition for half off (which also has a 15% off cartwheel that expires today). I have no interest in Infinity, so I'll return that and keep The Division for $42.49.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition is $9.99 at Best Buy, before GCU.

A bunch more are 8.99, and at Toys R Us, all toys to life figures are buy 1, get one for $1.

And to add to that, at TRU DIsney Infinity Power Discs are $5 including the just released Marvel Battleground disc pack.

I placed an order on BestBuy.com for 8 of the $4.99($3.99 w/ GCU) figures I don't currently have. I may place an order through TRU to pick up a couple of the newer Marvel figures plus Boba Fett since they are not on sale at Best Buy, along with the Battlegrounds disc pack.

Destiny for PS4 hit $11.99 at Amazon so I ordered it. I've since heard I should expect to pay a ton for expansion packs, though...

Slickdeals reports you can get it at NewEgg for $29.99 - $10 coupon and then - $20 rebate so you can get it for FREE.

Problem is then if you want to continue you're still going to have to buy The Taken King which comes with everything anyway, so you ultimately wind up spending more money.

mattysemo247 03-21-16 09:50 AM

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Yeah, since the Taken King bundle has been $35 multiple times now (and even cheaper with GCU), I wouldn't bother with vanilla Destiny, regardless of price.

I also noticed that Target has a 75% off cartwheel this week for Gears of War. IF you can get them to pricematch the Best Buy price, you could get it for $2.50. If not, you could still get it for $10.

EDIT: Amazon has also matched the Gears of War price. Physical AND digital versions.

eBay has a $15 off $75 coupon right now. Use code C15SPRING. Lasts for another 4 hours.

I just use it for gift cards. Some popular options are $100 76 gift card for $77, $70 for $100 for Staples, $85 for $100 Target etc.

This seller has a number of gift cards for discounted prices, plus the coupon knocks another $15 off. I've bought from this guy a bunch of times.
